23. the truth (part nine)

A/n pov

"Who are you?" You asked. Taehyung was shocked. ""y-y/n i-its me t-taet-tae" he stuttered so badly. "huh?" You asked confused. "baby d-dont you remember m-me?" He asked. "what do you mean i don't even know you. Where am I, what are these" you said and got up and pulled out the needle of the drips. "y/n y/n calm down please lay back down I'll call the doctor" taehyung said and made you lay back down. You didn't protest because you were too weak.

The doctor was walking in the hallway taehyung ran to him. "doctor y/n's awake but she's saying that she doesn't remember me" taehyung said. "what" the doctor said and rushed to your ward.

There you were lying thinking about what's going on. Suddenly the doctor barged in the door. You sat up confused. "y/n what is the last thing you remember?" The doctor asked cautiously. Taehyung was curious for your answer. You thought really hard you tried to remember something then you said "i was walking on the road with my icecream" you said in a whisper. "anything more specific" the doctor asked. "someone bumped on me and then I'm here" you said. The doctor and taehyung looked at you with wide eyes. It was all silence. "ok can someone please tell me what's going on?" You asked. "nothing y/n I'll send your parents to see you" with that being said the doctor left while dragging taehyung. Taehyung was still frozen he didn't know what to do or say. They both exited your ward. "D-doctor" taehyung spoke in a whisper tone. "she lost her memory" the doctor said. "one month's" taehyung said with tears in his eyes. "pardon" the doctor asked. "that memory she explained was the first moment we met eachother" taehyung explained and broke in tears. The doctor patted his back "hey it's ok don't worry we'll figure it out" he said.

Your parents came in your ward. "y/n!" Your mom said and hugged you. "mom! Dad! What's going on?" You asked. Your mom looked at you confused. The doctor came in. "mr. And mrs. Lee can i talk to you for a moment" the doctor said. Then they went out. "What happened doctor" your dad asked worried. "y/n lost her memory of the past month's" the doctor said. Your parents were shocked. "don't worry it's just a month I've seen worse cases but trust me other than that she's all fine. And don't try to force the memory back to her............and one more thing.......... Chances are she could be hallucinating for this past month....." The doctor said. Your parents were shocked as hell this time. "doctor what do you mean" your mom asked. "she's been mentally stressed..... probably about her studies.....this led her to hallucinate......have you noticed something strange like she would talk about something but you guys never saw it" he asked. "taetae" your mom said realising. "Then that is a hallucination... don't try to talk about taetae infront of her" the doctor said.............

Flashback

Between doctor and taehyung

"Doctor tell them that i was a hallucination" taehyung said. "why" the doctor asked. "she doesn't remember me and i don't want to force her plus i don't have the courage to tell her I'm the reason she met with an accident like this if it isn't for me she would have never came out of her house and cross that busy road" taehyung said. "but taehyung that's illegal I'm not supposed to accuse a patient of hallucinating" the doctor said. "please doctor for me i beg you" he said and cried. "ok ok fine for you" the doctor said ...........

Your mom and dad came in and smiled at you. "Hey sweetie" your mom said. "mom atleast now tell me what's going on" you asked. "you just fainted because you didn't eat properly" your dad said. "then why all these bandages" you asked pointing to the bandage on your head. "you hit your head on the floor sweetie" your mom said. "oh" you replied........

Kim taehyung pov

I'll make sure you'll remember me love.......

You got discharged from the hospital and your mom and dad never talked about your accident and taetae............

After 4 years

Present

"This is what happened sir" taehyung said. Your dad was shocked. He didn't know what to reply. "I-I don't know what to say" he said processing everything taehyung just said. "trust him uncle" jungkook said. "I know y/n loved him" jungkook stated. "I'm so sorry for yelling like that taehyung but still you guys should have maintained your limits at school now it's gonna be a big fuss" your dad apologised and scolded. "I'm sorry sir don't worry I'll fix it" taehyung said. "oh call me uncle son" your dad said and patted his back. "so we're all good now" jungkook said. "we're more than good" your dad said. "but what are we gonna tell y/n" jungkook asked and the whole room turned silent. "I'll talk to her" taehyung said. "are you gonna tell her" jungkook asked surprised. "no I'll make up something i don't have the courage still" taehyung said and hung his head low. "it's ok son take your time" your dad said and patted his back. Taehyung smiled and the three boys left jungkook's apartment and entered into yours.

They three came in with smiles on their faces. "what happened?" Your mom asked. You just came out of your room hearing their voice. You were scared so you came hesitantly. "well all the explanation is done and i approve of taehyung" your dad said with a proud smile. You were so happy that you didn't care about anything and just ran to him and jumped on him and hugged him like a koala. Taehyung stumbled because of your sudden action but he managed to catch you and his balance. "Ahem" your mom cleared her throat. You then realised that there are three pairs of eyes watching you. So you immediately got down and smiled awkwardly. Your mom just gave you a 'control your harmones till marriage' look. "mom don't look at me like that i was just too happy" you said and pouted. "Well don't make me a grandmother while you're just in highschool" your mom said savagely. "mom!" You yelled and ran away from there cause of embarrassment. "well it's happy to me to see her happy" jungkook said. "you better stay away from her" taehyung said. "yah i litterally helped your love" jungkook said "still she's my girlfriend" he said. "geez don't be so possessive" he said and left your apartment. While your mom and dad was standing there and watching the both boys argue. "umm uncle aunty can i go to her room" he asked hesitantly. "yeah sure but stay in your limits" your mom warned him. "Thanks aunty" he said and ran to your room like a kid. "aish kids these days" your dad said. "well i remember you being a horny ass back then" your mom said. "well what am I supposed to do if my wife is so beautiful" your dad said flirtily. Your mom blushed and hit his shoulders playfully................
