Author's POV
(Abyss guide and the rest are going by names I shortened)
"They're here! Canon! Y/N! I'm so happy you're ok." Aby yelled out
"Glad to be back, I brought back a big crystal. Just like I promised" Canon showed his treasure proudly and walks over to the welcoming crew.
Y/N just stares at him angrily, and walked away while the rest of the crew were happily celebrating their return.
"What a jerk... A" thank you" would have been nice." Y/N mumbles under their breath.
A crew member notices Y/N's distance from the crowd and decided to move closer
"Y/N.. are you ok? You seem weirdly sad ever since you returned. Did something happen at the bottom?"
It was Angie! One of Aby's friends that welcomed Y/N into the ship.
"No, I'm quite alright. Thanks for worrying" Y/N painfully smiles
Y/N reassures Angie and casually talks with her, catching Canon's attention
Y/N's POV
Me and Angie just kept conversing when all of a sudden a big crystal appeared in front of my face.
"Here" Canon grabs my hands roughly and places the jewel in my hand and closes it "You can have it, I don't want it anymore" He scoffs
'HAAH?? I DON'T GET IT??? WHY WOULD HE- DIDN'T HE JUST RISK HIS LIFE FOR THIS????'
I wondered dazed and confused
"What? Why are you giving this to me?" I asked
"Cause I don't want it, just take it" He repeats angrily
"No I can't take it, you almost died for it. You can't just not want it, come on"
I offer him back the crystal.
He takes it.
"If none of us want it.."
He walks over to the ship's ledge
"Then it's useless.."
Dangling the crystal over the water
"And I really despise useless things"
He lets go, leaving me dumbfounded
Canon's POV
As I let go of the crystal, I walk back and get.. PUSHED ASIDE TO THE SHIP'S FLOOR??
I fall on my ass and watch as Y/N jumps into the waters.
"YOU STUPID MORON, WHAT THE HELL?! WHERE ARE YOU GOING?!"
I run after them as soon as I got up
*SPLASH*
Author's POV
After seeing the show Canon and Y/N caused, the crew was left at shock, jaws open wide.
"What the heck?"
"Did they hit their heads before getting here?"
"Canon just went after them, that's unusual"
Meanwhile, Angie is still at the place she's always been. Sitting. Eyes shot wide open.
