*cough cough*
Canon coughed up the water that was trapped in his chest, hitting it with his fist causing a stinging pain and a soar throat.
"Oh my god! Are you ok?! I'm so sorry I was pushed over by the fish and I almost dropped you and then the Krill King was just behind us and their mouth was wide open so I..."
Y/N kept rambling and apologizing with their hands makinh various motions
"You... Can you please just shut up?"
Canon asked rudely, grabbing Y/N's hands to their mouth.
"Mmph! Shuorry.."
Y/N mumbled, Canon released his hold and sat up straight on the shore.
"... thanks for saving me.. I appreciate it...greatly"
Canon mumbled under his breath out of embarrassment, he has never had to thank a lot of people. Most of the time, he was the one being thanked for that matter.
"Of course! After me and Aby noticed you didn't return for a while, I decided to look for you."
"Oh is that so? That's...unexpected. The last person I thought would save me was you to be honest"
Y/N looked at Canon with a look of confusion, why would they be the last?
"You were a new crew member, I was already set on ignoring you but you kept bringing more and more crytals, eventually you beat everyone and I wanted to keep my record"
He continued
"I was setting out to find the biggest one yet, one you could never even try to beat. In fact.."
He starts going quietly, Y/N leans in to hear him better
"I'M STARTING TO BLAME YOU FOR ME DROWNING"
Canon shouted, clenching his fists on the ground and throwing dirt onto your face
"HEY WHAT'S THE BIG DEAL?? I JUST SAVED YOU AND YOU THROW SAND AY ME?? DON'T BLAME ME FOR YOUR STUPIDITY AND PRIDE"
Y/N brushes the sand off their face and clothes, looking at Canon angrily
Canon stands up abruptly and goes back to the water to grab his boat
Y/N stands up too, waiting for him go to shore so they can get in the boat as well.
'My cape is wet so flying is gonna be heavy and not an option, the least he can do for me is row'
Y/N thought sulking, waiting and ringing out the water in their cape and backpack.
As they're drying up, they look out at the distance and see...
CANON ROWING AWAY??!
"HEY! WHERE ARE YOU GOING?! I'M STILL HERE, COME BACK!!!"
Y/N yells, grabbing his attention, but he just ignores and keeps rowing.
"Nope, Nope, Nope. This isn't happening... He's not serious.."
Y/N stares at Canon's boat who shows no sign of stopping.
"THAT STUPID-"
Y/N flies up angrily, instead of flying straight to the boat where the others are, they land upon Canon harshly"
Canon gets startled
"WHAT'S THE BIG IDEA? YOU CAN'T JUST LEAVE ME THERE AND ROW AWAY AFTER WHAT I DID FOR YOU"
Canon balances himself after Y/N landed and cause his boat to tumble
"Uh.. I just did as in a few minutes ago. You can fly anyways, can't you? You'll get to the others faster than I can."
He slowly gets quiet to the end but gets his hair grabbed by Y/N, bringing his head to their vision.
"YEAH I CAN BUT DO YOU NOT KNOW HOW TIRING THAT GETS, WATER IS STILL IN MY SYSTEM, ITS HEAVY. THE LEAST YOU CAN DO IS BRING ME TO THE SHIP TOO."
Y/N lets go of his hair and sits down, staring at him menacingly.
"Row"
Canon nods and rows silently, not making a single noise of rebelling or even looking neat Y/N's direction.
