The Speed Force (Chapter 6)

Mugen's eyes opened as he stood in a place he didn't know of, but he quickly realized what his being here meant.

"Momo!! Denki! Jirou?!" Mugen shouted, hoping to get a response.

"I wouldn't worry about them. Currently,the Speed Force is inhabiting your body, and is moving faster than it ever has before. Granted the reality of the time you'll be in here will only be a couple seconds." A calm lady said, drawing Mugen's attention to her.

"Who the hell are you?" Mugen asked, caution in his voice.

"I'm your mother, Y/n." The lady had said, hearing this made him upset.

"Your aren't her. I may not have known her.. But I'd know if I was in front of my mother. You... You give off a feeling more like.. Like the lightning the crackles around me when I run." Mugen said, getting the woman to giggle.

"What a spot on analogy. Very well. I'm the embodiment of the Speed-Force. I took this form because I figured you'd be more comfortable with it. As well as.. The house your mother lived in." The woman, who called herself the Speed-Force, claimed, getting Mugen to look around.

"How would you know? Know what my mother looked like or her house?" Mugen asked.

"Because, I've been with you, since you were conceived. My power was boiling in your cells. I've been growing inside of you your entire life. There hasn't been a moment I was not with you. Do you want to know why?" The Speed-Force asked, as she sat like a distinguished lady.

Mugen looked at the woman, and to his surroundings, approaching a book called the Lightning Bolt Astray. [I'm not sure if that exists, this is a fanmade book]

"Sure. Tell me why. I was able to use my speed since I started walking. So doctors found my quirk a very early bloomer. Since it wasn't a mutation." Mugen claimed, as he quoted the doctors.

"Because Mugen, you're inevitably destined to be a vessel for me to inherit. Of course, upon your death though." The Speed-Force claimed, getting Y/n interest.

"Then am I dead right now? Because I feel pretty alive."Mugen asked, as he felt his arms and legs.

"Oh your alive. But your conscience has been pulled into the Speed-Force so we could have this talk. While your conscience is away, I had the Speed-Force cells inside you to override your conscience and work your body. Of course without your conscience blocking their full extent, your body is running faster than it ever has before."The Speed-Force explained

"Well you didn't bring me here for nothing, so what's up. Why am I in the Speed Force." Mugen asked, causing the Speed-Force to grin.

"Simple. Your going to get faster. Faster than Barry, Faster than Thawne. Faster than Heart, any other speedster you may encounter, you will become faster than! That is your destiny, You hold the mark. You will inherit the Speed-Force entirely. Of course not right now. That would be too much a strain. But in time." The Speed-Force stated, a sly grin present.

Mugen noticed this grin and squinted his eyes in suspicion. "And how do you suggest I get faster, it's not like I can just command my body to run infinitely faster." He asked

"For that, you will have to run, and you will naturally get faster, for every time you run, you learn new powers, you get faster, you understand yourself more." The speed Force stated, as she walked by a table.

"Hey.. I have a question, about my quirk. Or what.. I've been calling my quirk. That's not really a quirk, is it." Mugen asked, getting her to dodge the question.

"Quirk? What's that..?" She said, her eyes having darted away with a not so sly whistle.

"I want an answer." Mugen stated.

"Fine. No. From birth you've been quirkless. You're a sort of alien species called the Kinotix. [Kee-Not-Ex] While most are about as weak as a human, some are special, like those of Kryptonians, or Viltrumites. They hold a normally human appearance, however some do have certain marks which sign their destiny. You hold one of those marks. With the birthmark on your nape, the bolt of Zeus is how some would explain it. Now, is there anything else you'd like to know?" She asked, a sort of irritated sigh after stopping.

"A bit. Which one of my parents are the alien. Or are they both?"

"Your mother was the alien. However the alien genes are far more dominant than the human genes, so while you are part human, you take more after the Kinotix." She explained, crossing her arms.

"So.. This is alot to take in.. I'm a Kinotix, but what about you. How do I have the Speed-Force?" Mugen asked, confused.

"It's not just humans that can harness my power. Any living creature really has the potential to harness it. But certain ones have an abnormal affinity for it. Much like you. Only your affinity is extremely rare. Your very compatible with me. Which is why I'm able to take control of your body in moments like these." She stated, as she put her hand on my chest.

"Okay that's weird with the appearance of my mum. If your gonna do that please change your appearance?" Mugen asked nervously.

The Speed-Force laughed before exhaling and smiling. "Sure. Who would you rather me look like? That Momo? Jirou perhaps? Or are we adventurous and want the Acid Quirked Mina? There's also that frog-girl. And the bubbly Ochako." Speed-Force teased.

"In your words, We're adventurous." Mugen sat down with his legs crossed.

"So it's Mina, that you'd rather see. Very well." She hummed, both literally and figuratively. Her appearance changed with a small hum of electricity.

Now, she looked like Mina, Pink skin, pink hair, horns, black sclera, golden eyes. And to top it off. Short-Shorts and a tank-top.

"This is Mina's appearance, are you more comfortable now?" She asked.

"Yes, but only because I'm not talking to someone that looks like my dead mother." Mugen claimed, a light blush on his face as he looked away.

"Oh, the outfit is getting you excited. I can feel the adrenaline. Well, not this time my Host. Now, I think you should get back to them. Save them, Slipstream."
