Mugen walked by, and a news reporter had ushered the student to them
"Young hero, do you have anything to say about today's incident at the U.S.J. please, any comments?" She asked.
"Any comments? Comments? Yeah. I got a couple. Piss off. Let the rest of the kids rest. They were just through a traumatic event, and all you care about are comments? Your an idiot. Stupid news reporters and bullshit." Mugen stated, walking away, pulling his cowl to allow better breathing.
He walked away and back to the Iida estate with his brother, the latter was fine, but all Mugen could do was think of his time in the Speed-Force.
After hours, Mugen couldn't stop thinking about how that house looked, it felt like he knew where it was. But couldn't put his finger on it. Unable to sleep, he sat up, turning on his lamp. He looked out his window, seeing the city outside, all he could do was watch. He remembered an aspect in the house that he had saw. A family photo. With his father, his mother, and a newborn baby, it was outside and had the house number on it. While also showing the general surroundings. That's where his mind clicked. Mugen wasn't dumb by any means. He was actually a pretty smart kid, scoring second in the written exam for the school. He put on his shoes, and walked through the night. He walked to a neighborhood he ran through a couple times, he looked for the house numbers, and he could tell he was getting close.
"1764... 1762... 1758. There we are. Let's hope someone's home." He said to himself, as he walked up to the door, and knocked.
He heard footsteps, bringing his hopes up.
The door opened to reveal a man and woman who were married judging by the rings on their hands.
"H-Hey.. Uh.. Crap, I don't know what to say right now.." Mugen said..
"You alright kid? You look tired?" The man asked.
"Y-yeah.. I'm alright, just tired. But, ah.. I'm just going to be completely see-through. When I was an infant I lived here. I wasn't able to grow up here, but my mom did grow up in this house, so I was hoping to be able to just stand inside for a minute or two, to just.. be a bit closer to her." He had said, a tear falling from his eye.
"Oh uh.. sure. Just, be quiet, our baby is sleeping right now, so please?"
" Absolutely. I really appreciate it." Mugen said, and he took his shoes off at the door. Slowly, he took a step inside, he was hesitant. Back in the Speed-Force it didn't have the same feeling. No, this was completely different. He could feel the energy of the families that have lived here, and he could feel the emotions in this house.
The couple had stepped aside to talk, and the husband had came to a conclusion.
"Hey uh.. I got a question kid.. You look like the kid that couple in the photo was holding. I was wondering.. Are these your parents?" He asked, as he pulled out a framed photo that had been flipped down in a cubby. He revealed it to Mugen, who immediately opened his eyes wide.
"That.. that's them. Where was this?" Mugen asked
"It was on one of the housewarming gifts we received here. The man who gave it to me said it'd be important one day, and we're a religious family, so I thought it to be true. And well. Look what it's brought.
Clap..Clap..Clap..
Foot steps echoed down the stairs, the parent's eyes widened in horror, they didn't have any other children, and their infant son was sleeping.
A man was walking down the stairs, holding a baby against his chest, lightly clapping as to not wake the baby.
"Such drama.. Man this brings me back. Walking down the stairs with you, before killing your mother. You remember that? Mugen?"
