To be honest, I would rather be trapped in my mind than here.
He isn't here all the time; and I will refuse to call him my father, but he stops by daily. But what he does to us... That's right. There are cells, a whole damn prison. Each cell holds two people, and each person is stripped bare, no clothes, and chained to the walls. Say what ever you want, he says it hurts more when he whips us. Literally, he has a whip.
The person next to me? No one... Yet. He went on a run, so for now, it's me and Vanessa's decaying body. I just hope that bastard doesn't catch anyone... And I jinxed it. The chains weren't to tight, however. We could walk around freely, just to a certain extent. There is a bed 2 feet from us and a experiment table on our sides. It's like a table, but with locks and chains, so if he is feeling creative, he chains us there and carves. Fun... *sarcastic sigh* Everything hurts. My back is beet red, little to no skin still there. And my arms, he used that as his personal sketch book. The words he carved inside my skin... I just try to convince myself it's not true.
In all honesty, I try not to scream or kick. People been here before me, and I was the newest. I don't want to be a wimp, and I can't imagine what they went through. If only I can get out of here... Nope, I can't. There is no way in hell to break this chain. I tried by hand and by rock and anything I could find. It's infuriating.
Remember when I said I jinxed it? Well. I did. He came inside fuming, with a cut under his eye and a bruised arm. He had a death grip of the arms of a blonde girl. She had to be about 11... Maybe younger. I glared at him each second he was in here, and struggled against my chains as I watched a poor helpless girl, who was unconscious, at that, be chained, and taken away from her life. He looked at me, and smirked, before taking out his knife. He threw it at my hand, pinning it to the stone wall. I yelped, but bit my lip right after, trying my best not to Cry. He took another dagger out, and threw it at my other hand, and the same thing happened. With no hands, he approached me menacingly. And way too slow. He gripped a tiny sword, even smaller than the ones that pierced my hands.
But he didn't carve my arms or shave the sling from my back. He did something worse. He took the knife, and stabbed it inside my eye. I let out a loud scream, trying to move my hands but the daggers just cut deeper every movement they made. Ooze came out of my eye, and soon it lost color. He pressed the knife deeper in my eye, and if I could cry, I would. But it's hard to do that with one eye. Instead, I screamed and kicked him, like a maniac. The only did he thing was remove the knife; and eye, from my socket. I gripped the bleeding hole that uses to hold my Aqua eye. He took the eye and put it in jar, placing it on a table. He then walked out slowly, as I realized something. I turned my head to the frightened girl. She was staring at me, wide eyed. Her eyes filled with horror, fear, but what over powered the most, sorry. "Keep your eyes that wide, you'll lose one." I tried to lighten the situation, but that only made her cover her eyes; probably checking to see if they were both there.
"C'mon, that was funny!" I chuckled, but of course, my comedy skills... Well, I didn't have any. "W-Will he do the s..same to me ?" She asked, rocking back and forth. I frowned, she reminded me of me when I was thrown in here, forced to here those screams. "Kid, this is a living hell. Knives will cut your skin and scar your face. Whips will lace your back, chains will hold you back. Fire will leave your tarnish your skin, but none of these can pierce your soul and your personality without you letting it. So keep your chin up, thins will get better."
