"Platform 9 and 3 Quarters?" -Dave Sione

The date was September 1st, 1991. Jay leapt out of bed moments after his eyes opened, and quickly rushed to wake up Flynn yelling, "Wake up! Come on, the train!"

Flynn opened his eyes hesitantly, but then rushed out of bed, remembering what the day was, and the pair simultaneously agreed to head down the stairs as quickly as possible.

Having somehow arrived at the bottom of the stairs even faster than they did just a month ago before their trip to Diagon Alley, they saw their mother seemingly waiting for them at the the doorstep.

"Come on, we'll be using floo powder to travel to a wizarding settlement near Kings Cross, from their we'll be walking." she spoke hurriedly, but than responded to the confused look on the boys faces. "I expect Gold will meet you two there... now hurry along and get ready while I find the floo powder."

Jay and Flynn grabbed their trunks, and threw in a couple items they had missed during their last night scrummage to pack, and moved back down the stairs to see their mother with the floo powder box impatiently waiting next to the fireplace.

They got through the floo network with no real hassle, and started walking towards Kings Cross station promptly. Because of Gold teaching them how to dress properly like Muggles, they attracted no unwanted attention during the long walk. Sadly, that removed any possible fun from the trip, as no Muggles would think to look twice at what seemed like normal people taking a walk, which meant no looking at the funny faces when a full grown man was wearing a literal tutu.

After about 30 minutes of walking, they finally arrived at Kings Cross station. Jay's mother began looking for Gold and her parents.

"We should be meeting Sione around Platform 10... ah there she is." she said, spotting her hanging around near a brick wall similar to the one which gained entry to Platform 9 and 3 quarters.

They ran forward to great them, and they all prepared to run towards the brick barrier that granted access to the train. Of course, they weren't the only people their looking to cross the barrier; they saw plenty people hanging around the barrier, looking out for Muggles watching them somehow disappear through the wall. Of course, this wasn't easy due to the definite abnormality of a bunch of funny dressed people holding large trunks and strange animals like owls and toads. Gold's father of course, was bursting with questions about the train.

"Platform 9 and 3 quarters? I've been to Kings Cross a couple times in my life and I've never heard of that train... can only wizards see it? Well why are we hanging around here, aren't you going to board the train?" he asked.

"Hold off on the questions Dave, we'll be there shortly... right, Flynn you go first. Then Jay, Gold, and all of us will come along. Remember that its good to start off at a run, and try not to wince to hard. Be careful with the owl, you don't want it to fall off. Gold, I expect you should hold Silver in one arm and your trunk handle in the other..." Ms. Sione gave instructions on the order in which to do things, and Flynn went first. He seemed a bit scared off the prospect of running head on into a very solid looking brick wall, but he grabbed his luggage and the snowy owl Ether tightly, and ran towards the wall.

Seamlessly, he went through it. Jay took this knowledge to stop his hesitation at the wall, and he too, ran trolley-first into the wall, and again, smoothly came out too the platform. He than saw it- Platform 9 and Three-Quarters.

The place was seemingly bursting with energy, parents giving reminders on how to behave at school, owls hooting with excitement, and people showing off their brooms or prefect badges. He met Flynn's gaze and grinned with pure glee.
