Chapter 32: Hangout

Akari POV:
"You agreed to what while I was asleep?!" I exclaimed as Haru scratched the back of his neck. He had the audacity to smile sheepishly while Rumi was looking the other way whistling. Yua left after the exam cause duty calls and all that. Haru explained rather quickly,

"I agreed to let you go out with your classmates to the mall to get some things for the summer camp. I already asked ma'am thing is I'm having to go with you so that we can do publicity stunt. Besides don't you want to hang out with your friends?" I sighed thinking about it. I wouldn't mind it at all I would've liked an opinion on the matter of course but oh well. What's done is done. I sighed before asking.

"What day, time, and place?" Haru answered easily,

"The XX, at 3 o'clock, and at the Kiyashi Ward Mall. Ma'am is setting up outfits as we speak." I nodded as I looked at the rest of the class. We are excited for this after all it's a summer camp. I wouldn't be stuck at the agency all the time with training so I think this will go well. Just 2 weeks and I'll see them. Alright fine I then asked,

"Do you know who failed since I fell asleep?" Haru nodded pointing out.

"Sero, Mina, Kirishima, Sato, and Kaminari all failed the exam. I don't know what they're going to do due to the summer camp." I nodded thinking about it. What can they do since they failed their Physical exam?

Time skip next day....

"For those who failed their exam your still going. It was a logical ruse to get you to work your hardest." To that everyone blanched and those who failed started crying tears of joy. Thing is they now have remedial classes.

1 week later....

I'm rubbing my temples at this point. Why did my classmates decide to do a hangout at UA for a pool day and now I need to get ready within 2 hours without getting in trouble with ma'am. I can make an excuse easy but convincing ma'am will be hard. Maybe I can finish scheduling Haru's work schedule early so that I can go. Yeah that gotta work.

"Alright I'll let you go do your class president duty. On one condition you make sure it's on media especially with Shoto Todoroki." I nodded saying,

"Yes ma'am thank you ma'am." And zoomed off to get ready. I don't know much about pool days nor much about it but it seemed like fun. The movies me and Haru watched always made it seem fun. Even if it's a bit exaggerated. I grabbed my UA issued swimsuit a bit on the sad side cause I don't like water but I think I can just put my feet in.

I was soon at the school thanking the driver as I walked away going to the meeting place. It was nice and we had until 5 o'clock. I think it's enough time. I changed and stretched before heading out the locker room. Midoriya along with the other boys were there along with the rest of the girls. Kaminari seemed to be disappointed of something but didn't reveal why. I don't get it but oh well I can ask Todoroki about it. I ran up to them and exclaimed excitedly,

"Hey guys what's up?!" The girls were playing volleyball in the pool while some guys set up a race of sorts. It was freestyle so I think I can just fly my way over. Let's get this going.

I flew over the pool and it was an easy win. I heard yelling when I looked over it was Sero and Kaminari yelling,

"YOU DIDNT EVEN TOUCH THE WATER!" I smiled sheepishly at them as I said suppressing a shudder,

"I don't like water and it's freestyle isn't it? Sorry never had a pool day before." I never heard a shriek of "WHAT" so loudly before it honestly startled me. Todoroki raised a hand and also stated he never had a pool day either due to top 10 hero safety. Thank kami for the save cause it caused the class to calm down. They started asking us about what we did with our classmates but we couldn't say much. I was having to hide the program while Todoroki just stated bluntly,

"I was home school most of my life." I heard a face palm from the bluntness of the statement. I think he didn't know how his tone effects what he says so I think he's clueless on the fact. I let out a few giggles as he looked at me confused and asked,

"Sorahiko why are you laughing? I just stated a fact." I waved it off letting out the last of my giggles. He simply shrugged it off and went on talking with Midoriya and Iida. I sat back down letting my feet dangle into the pool water. I felt like I was being watched but by who? I looked to see Aoyama staring at everyone but me. Well isn't that slightly creepy. He's been doing that since I revealed I was apart of the program. There was an announcement of more races. Well there's a repeat of races until it was me versus Todoroki, Bakugo, and Midoriya. Well that was until I felt my wings go limp. I didn't dare jump into the water.

I looked to see an annoyed Aizawa cancelling our quirks much to everyone's displeasure. He was annoyed by us being here longer than we intended. Soon enough we were sent off to go home. "Home" funny word despite me never really having one that feels like "home". I sighed walking away from UA to the agency. I just hope ma'am doesn't interrogate- interview me about the matter.
