She couldn't leave him alone. She's not losing the last of her family. Not this time and not ever. If they have to be vigilantes so be it. Besides it's the commissions fault for telling her Kaito's mission. It's their fault for this idea anyways. Besides when she goes back she'd be allowed to see Haru again maybe.
Kaito wasn't pleased by her defiance but stayed quiet knowing that at least he'd have someone to watch his back. He knew that her loyalty to the commission changed. Especially when he died. Who is he to not want someone he knows on this mission. Sure it's a long shot of a mission but still support is always best. Besides their the golden duo. They can take care of themselves.
Taking down the villains were easy. Hearing someone slow clap as the boss walked up to them was terrifying. Now it begins. The double agent mission begins... They may have passed this test but who knows they might not pass the next one.
5 years later...
Upon entering a room she was surprised to see the old friend. She had to keep herself from crying out of pure hysteria as she promptly walked out of the room and grabbed Kaito. Before he could protest she dragged him back to the hostage saying,
"So windy boy what's UA like?" Kaito's eyes widened. He sputtered,
"Angel wait-" she glared at both of them then said to Toga,
"I got this you'll get left overs. You too Touya." The burnt man scoffed saying,
"Your lucky your on our side or I would've burned you to a crisp chick." Akari rolled her eyes retorting,
"And I can tolerate your flames. We both know I can do more damage to you." The man huffed as he gave the golden duo a glare as he closed the door behind him. When the two looked at their old friend then dropped the act. Akari let out a sigh saying,
"Need any help?" Hayate was giving the duo bewildered looks in disbelief. Before he could come up with a witty remark Kaito said,
"I need you to scream in pain. We're suppose to interrogate you about the commission, but we rather not know." Hayate was confused as Kaito used some water to freeze the chains restraining him. Looking ferried at Akari as she grabbed a crowbar yelling,
"Tell us about the commission and their plans!" Hayate yelled out of pure fear knowing Akari wouldn't hesitate,
"WAIT WHAT?! NO-" then as Akari slammed down the crow bar. Hayate raised their arms up in defense. Akari smashed the chains holding Hayate to the ground. Kaito used his hand to muffle his laughter as Akari couldn't hold herself back,
"I- you thought- Pft-" Hayate looked ready to fight them or yelling at them. Then looking back down at his chains no longer restraining him he slowly got up. He was confused on why they're helping him. Why they're villains. Akari sighed saying,
"Ok so here's the plan. We're rescuing you from All for One." Hayate's eyes widened as he sputtered,
"He's here?!" Akari nodded as she walked into the cell grabbing his hand explaining to him,
"Yes. Now we have their plans within our grasp. We need you to act alright?" Hayate was confused as Kaito replied,
"Hayate act unconscious you air head. We have to bring you out to the main area." Hayate sighed as he got on Akari's back. Akari muttered something to Kaito who nodded and opened the door. Akari walked in a new confidence in her stance as she said,
"Alright he's out. He won't confess now what do we do with the lug?" She said as she gently dropped Hayate onto the ground. Her wings flexing a bit for show. Dabi sent her a knowing look when the door was knocked.
"Hello? Camino Pizza!" Everyone looked over the door and as soon as Akari's wings hiked up Kaito grabbed Hayate and Bakugo yelling,
"SCATTER THE HEROES ARE HERE!" Before the wall broke and Kurogiri used his portals. Teleporting everyone to a Nomu factory that Akari and Kaito were destroying bit by bit before their "initiation."

They solved the problem of getting the kidnapped victims away. The big problem they had was the fact Haru swooped in and took Akari. He was checking the girl over and over again not believing that it's her. The amount of relief in his form that she's safe and alive. When she went "rogue" and went with Kaito Haru was beyond pissed. He tried finding her on his own but she kept her tracks covered.
Even now as Ma'am took Akari away again from him he was reluctant and tried to fight ma'am until she shocked him into behaving. Akari though looked indifferent as the shocks coursed through her body. She muttered to herself,
"I thought that would hurt more than I remember." Kaito elbowed her rib to shut her up. Akari glared at him before resigning her features as she said to Haru after healing him,
"I'll be ok promise." Kaito's stature turned frigid as he hissed,
"Akari! Your promised that you would do that anymore you idiot!" Akari paid him no mind as she got Haru to stand on his own after healing him. Afterwards she gave him a hug before walking over to ma'am asking her,
"Room 6 correct?"
