Chapter 41: We get an unexpected visit

Akari POV:
   It was a Saturday so me and Haru decided to just lay around at the house and practice a bit of our instruments. Kaito was hanging out with us along with Keigo. Kaito now is under "gaurdianship" with Keigo and I was so excited for it. Kaito was also going to be able to go to Shiketsu Highschool to keep an eye of their curriculum too. I was chatting with Kaito about how weird school is and how different it is from movies. He was excited for it which was good enough for me.

   We were enjoying the peace until there was a knock at the door. I got up and looked through the peep hole. Aizawa sensei was here along with All Might. I yelled back to Haru,

   "Are we suppose to get any visitors cause my teachers are here?" Haru got up from the couch and opened the door as I ran into the living room. I whispered shouted,

   "My teachers are here get up and out!" Keigo's eyes widened and grabbed Kaito. They then ran out the balcony door. Keigo jumped and soon they were off to their apartment. As I closed the balcony door Aizawa sensei and All Might came inside with Haru looking confused as ever. I sat down on the couch next to Haru as he talked to the teachers.

   "I'm sure you got the email." Aizawa drawled as he got paper work out. Haru nodded and said,

   "I did I have questions about it as well." Aizawa sensei nodded and pushed the paperwork forward. As he did this the from door busted open. It was ma'am she just walked in and said,

     "You'll have to talk to me not her brother. She is under my jurisdiction Eraserhead." Her tail swished as I got up from my seat and did the usual bow and straightened up even more. All Might looked concerned at the tension of the room. I stood off to the side until ma'am said,

   "Akari sweetheart can you make some tea for me?" I nodded and replied,

   "Of course ma'am." Then walked off in silence. My mind going over responses the commission likes and dislikes. What I'm allowed to say and what tone to use.

   I did it in fluid motion not really thinking about it. I brewed them green tea. I didn't realize it until I was sitting back down in between Haru and Ma'am. Currently they're not on the best of terms which I don't mind neutralizing it. I mean it's understandable Haru was stressed about my kidnapping. While ma'am was stressed out about my kidnapping as well and with All Might didn't help either. I think it's understandable but the fact that they keep side eyeing each other glaring at the other made things so much worse. They caught my eye instead and I just wanted to bang my head on the table.

   All Might coughed and I immediately sent a feather to him. Haru glared at me saying,

   "No not now." I stuck out my tongue out and made it glow. I froze at the hand on my shoulder. I turned to see Ma'am shaking her head. She kept her hand on me as I turned to face my teacher. Aizawa seemed to be annoyed by ma'am but he couldn't do anything. He needs her signature for me to be able to stay in UA. My mind is racing as they talked. Haru gave me a concerned glance at me and telepathically said,

   "Calm down copy my breathing everything will be alright." I gave a small nod and copied his breathing. He kept his eyes on the teachers in front of us. We didn't know what's going to happen much less what's about to. I mean would it even be possible to do as the commission wants now that I'm going very far away from their control. Will Haru be ok? What about Kaito? Will they be safe as I'm safe at school?

   My mind stopped itself as Ma'am signed the papers giving them to me to sign as well. They kept talking for a bit about the school's policies and soon enough they apologized for letting me get kidnapped and left closing the door behind them. I didn't dare let out the breath I was holding there's a catch to this. There has to be. She hardened her grip on my shoulder making me wince at the pressure. Haru turned to ma'am as they glared at each other. She then said to me making me face her,

   "Phoenix you better keep your act together on weekends you'll be coming straight to the commission got that? You'll do a weekly progress reports there as well. You better keep an eye out on All Might. Icarus you better behave yourself your lucky that All Might was here or I would've-" Haru interrupted,

   "Done what exactly ma'am? Hm? You can't keep pulling the same thing now that she's known to the public. If you pull her or me out the people will riot." She snarled and tightened her grip more making blooding come out of my shoulder I let out a strangled cry at this and immediately she lessened the pressure saying,

   "See what you did? You want her hurt?" Haru gave her a cold glare as he said,

   "No I don't. Leave her out of this conversation. Akari go to your room and start packing. I need to talk to ma'am." I looked over at ma'am I mean I don't want to but she let go saying,

   "Yes we do. Akari I need talk to your brother alright?" I nodded and sent Haru a glance saying sorry. I stood up and walked to my room closing the door behind me. I sighed leaning against it hearing yelling from the living room. I felt the sun hit my shoulder and I just sat there pulling in my legs. I didn't want this to happen. I didn't ask for this at all. I heard my phone ring and I looked to see who it was.

Percy Jackson Enthusiast

   I smiled at the contact name. He's the one who got me into the series and he copied so many of the moves in the books it's surprising actually. I mean they named him after the weapon Percy had after all. I opened the chat and all I got was

Hey you ok? How's the meeting going?

   I didn't know how to respond I mean how do I type this out? I replied,

Can I call you please?

I sighed out of relief when he called me. I answered as he said,

   "Yo you ok? What happened in there?" I sighed saying,

   "They're moving me to the dorms there at UA. Let's just say ma'am isn't please with the way the meeting went. Now my shoulder hurts from that. Don't worry I'm sitting in sunlight I'll heal." Kaito grumbled about that then said,

   "Alright if you say so but I'm coming over tomorrow for a check up." I gave out a half hearted laugh as I got up and started moving around. I mean I won't move around the heavy stuff it'll be alright. I got suitcases out along with the uniforms. I don't know what to pick other than the necessities and clothes.

   I left the phone on as I packed enjoying how Kaito talked about the book series and how excited he was due to him finally getting to Trials of Apollo. He couldn't read it due to the mission he was sent on and I for one couldn't wait for him to finish it. He talked about how he wished he could be taken to camp half blood. I would love to join as well I mean it's less harsh than the commission and well I get more siblings. Kaito joked about me being Apollo and Zeus's love child and how he's Poseidon's kid.

   It kept my mind off of the living room fight that when I heard the door slam I ended the call and went back to Haru who was slumped against the couch. I frowned at the sight of him. He was exhausted to the bone and yet he still keeps on. I didn't know if I should hug him or not. He saw me and immediately perked up as if I didn't see him so tired. I walked over to him and sat down next to him. I faced him and said,

   "I know your tired Haru no need to act. Alright?" He nodded but kept looking at the ground. I gave him a side hug and we stayed like that for a few minutes. He kept muttering curses and well I could see a scratch on his face. I gave him a feather and made it glow healing him. He sighed saying,

   "What would I do without you Akari?" I shrugged grinning saying,

   "You'd be dealing with a lot more injuries and back pain." He chuckled giving me a side hug. I winced due to my shoulder not be totally healed but he patted it gently. He sent me a small smile saying,

   "Alright we have 2 weeks until you go back to school. How do you feel about buying furniture for your new dorm room tomorrow?" I nodded excitedly. He smiled and got up patting my head before heading to the kitchen. He said to me as he started cooking,

   "Alright let's make dinner then get ready for bed. Alright?" I nodded getting up to go help. I couldn't wait for the dorms.
