Snow Angel (2/2): Dang it, the feels came around

(Max refers to Gwen as Mom and David as Dad)
Max's POV:
(I was sitting on mom's work chair and leaning my feet against the desk in the counselor's lounge until Dad walked in)
David: Hey Max you excited about your friends coming back to camp for Winter break.
Max: ehhh I guess miss the gang, and it will be nice to see Neil and Nikki again.
David: aww you miss your friends, all of them even Preston.
Max: hmm well I guess I miss annoying that Theater thot
David: Max language!
Max: ughh fine, sorry I guess
Nobody's POV:
(After Max apologized David smiled, only seconds later Gwen walks in)
Gwen: Hey you guys bus is here.
(Max gets up about to run outside but Gwen grabs his hoodie stopping him in his tracks)
Max: hey what gives
Gwen: listen ya little shit, before you can go out their you need to put on your jacket.
Max: but I'm wearing my hoodie already.
Gwen: Ya, no it's freezing out their and wearing you hoodie alone isn't enough to keep you from getting sick.
Max: but-
David: No buts you heard your mother, wear your winter jacket Max.
Max: ughhh fine I'll wear it.
(Max puts on his jacket and runs out to the bus, Gwen ad David follow him not to far behind)
(Once they get to the bus stop everyone's already out of the bus and talking to each other, David then claps to get their attention)
David: Hello Campers!! Welcome to Camp Campbell first ever Winter session.
Gwen: as you all know this is usually a summer camp but this year we're choosing to be a Summer and Winter camp.
Gwen: Alright ya little twerps were done here, so you guys can go now and do whatever it is you do.
(As soon as Gwen says that they all scramble to get to their own groups and activities)
Max's POV:
(I look through the crowd to try and get a glimpse of Neil and Nikki)
Max's thoughts: ugh where are they...
Nikki, Neil: BOO!!
Nobody's POV:
(Max has an unfazed look on his face, like he wasn't surprised at all, probably because he wasn't surprised)
Max: So was that your sad attempt in scaring/surprising me?
(Neil and Nikki look at Max with slight disappointment from their failed attempt to surprise Max)
Max: pff- well nice try guys but that was typical of you, not surprising in the slightest.
Nikki: Ya ya, our attempt failed this time but we'll get you next time.
Neil: ya!
Max: ya sure you will.
(They all begin to laugh in unison, while laughing they start waking to the camp grounds and then sit on some logs)
(After that they hang out for a few hours {cuz I'm a lazy fucker} talking about about stuff like school, parents, and activities)
Nikki: and then I threw a bunch of dirt at her, it was hilarious.
Max: ha serves her right she sounds like a total asshole.
Neil: she is a total asshole, a whiny bratty bitch in fact.
Nikki: Well enough about that bitch, wanna go exploring.
Max: ya why not.
Neil: No thanks guys I'm gonna stay here and work on uhhh sciencecy um stuff. So ya bye see you guys later.
Max: hmm well that was weird I guess.
Nikki: ehh I guess nothing to different from Neil on a daily basis, probably just puberty and whatnot.
Max: ya that sounds right.
Nikki: Alright, now let's go adventuring into the unknown.
Max: Alright let's go.
(After adventuring through the forest for about half an hour they stop and both lean against a tree.)
Max: Ok this is getting boring
(Nikki let's out a sigh and sits looking a bit glum, Max looks af her and notices something he often doesn't ...)
Max's thoughts: wow, Nikki is actually really pretty. Wait what- what am I thinking she's just a friend [Max's own Adrien moment].
(Max continues to stare at Nikki, after a minute Nikki looks back at him)
Max's thoughts: I mean yeah I had a crush on her when we were younger... but I thought I was over it. Ahh shit, this is great.. just great I still like Nikki.
Nikki: Max?
(Max hears Nikki and breaks out of whatever weird ass trance he was in, he immediately looks down and turns a flushed red)
Max: uhh sorry got distracted...
Nikki's thoughts: hmm.. he was staring at me, what if he, wait no that's not possible, right?
(After thinking about the possibility of Max having a crush on her she turns just as red as Max)
(They then both stare at their laps for a second, while simultaneously moving one of their hands to the space between the two until their hands touch...)
(They both notice their hands are touching but to be honest they don't mind, they just sit their for a second and enjoy each other's company...)
(After a few minutes they look up at each other both still red but not as much, they then smile at each other... not thinking about much, and then they..... well blurt out their feelings for each other [because there teens going through puberty])
(Their confessions come out at the same time making it sound like a slur of words, Then for a few seconds they just stare at each other both flushed red)
Max: I.. I umm I like, like "like like you"
Max: and I get it if you don't want to be with m-
Nikki: Well I like you too!
Max: wait you do, and your serious
Nikki: mhmm *nods*
(They both smile at each other, and then giggle a little)
Max: Can.. can I kiss you?
Nikki: well duh.
(Nikki grabs the strings of Max's hoodie and gives him a kiss, only seconds after that Max becomes a flushed red yet again)
Nikki: Wow Maxie I didn't expect you to be the one getting flustered over our first kiss *giggles*
(Max makes a slightly pouty face, Nikki giggles over this then gives him a peck on the cheek.)
(Max then gets up, stands in front of Nikki and puts his hand out offering to help her up, once she takes his hand he scoops her up (bridal style) and starts running back to Camp)
Nikki (giggling): Max put me down
Max: Ya that's a hard no pup.
Nikki: Pup?
Max: Well ya when we were younger you always acted like an energetic puppy. *quick giggle*
Nikki: Well ok, I guess I don't hate it Maxi-
(Before Nikki can finish her sentence Max gives her a quick pec on the lips, Nikki then turns a light pink and stops talking for the rest of the run home.)
