Sapnap's POV
We're all just snuggled up on the couch watching Frozen, because it's a rainy day and we have nothing better to do.
"LET IT GOOOO
LET IT GOOOOOOO
I CAN'T HOLD IT BACK ANYMOREEEE"
But then my phone starts to ring
Quackity pauses the movie
"Hello?" I ask into the phone
"Hi, it's John from Child Protective Services. Is this Sapnap Jacobs?" John says (JUST PRETEND ALL OF THEM USE JACOBS AS THEIR LAST NAME, BECAUSE I CAN'T THINK OF ANYTHING ELSE)
"Oh- uh, Hi John. Yes it is Sapnap, may I ask why you are currently calling?" I ask
"So, we've found Y/n's father" He pauses
"Oh, was there any evidence of anything really?" I ask
"I cannot disclose many of the details at the moment but yes. There was traces of drugs and other illegal substances found in the house and in his system, so after we receive more detailed information about this case, it's looking promising that we'll be able to get a court session for you guys to gain custody over Y/n" John says
"That's wonderful- I mean the circumstances aren't but I think you understand what I mean" I say
"Well, have a nice rest of your afternoon and evening I just wanted to let you know about this new information about the case" John says
"You too! Thank you so much for calling" I say before he hangs up
"What was that about?" Karl asks
"They've found Y/n's father." I say
When I say that Y/n tenses up and cuddles up with Quackity
"And..?" Quackity asks
"They have found drugs and illegal substances in the house and in his system, John has said that it's looking promising for a court day to gain custody" I say
"That's wonderful! I mean not wonderful, but wonderful that he most definitely won't be able to have custody over them" Karl says
"Just to make sure, You are one-hundred percent sure you want use to adopt you?" Quackity asks Y/n
"mhm. You guys aren't mean and you don't huwt me" Y/n says
Quackity looks so emotionally broken after hearing what Y/n said, and pulls them closer to him (IN A FATHERLY WAY!!!!)
"Do you guys wanna continue the movie?" Karl asks
"Yeah sure" I say whilst Quackity un-pauses the movie
"LET IT GO
LET IT GOOO
TURN AWAY AND SLAM THE DOOR
I DON'T CARE WHAT THEY'RE GOING TO SAY"
