Hey guys!!! Just wanted to wish ya'll a happy hump day! I hope you enjoy this chapter of the story! Anyone notice the Breaking Bad references? ;) That's my new binge watch show! Bye for now!

"Why are we going to New Mexico for a drug bust?" Emily asked.

"Well, Sweet Emily, these aren't just your typical drug dealers. They are cooking meth." Penelope answered.

"I still don't see why we are making such a big fuss; doesn't the local DEA handle these types of things?" Derek asked.

"Well Chocolate Thunder, if you would sit and let me finish you would know." She said slapping his butt with a folder, unnoticed by the rest of the team, before putting it on the table in front of Reid, who had still not gotten a tablet for case files.

"These guys are making the purest meth that's ever been found. 99.1% pure. Surrounding states have found it too."

"How much are we looking at here Garcia?" Hotch asked reviewing the electronic case file.

"Pounds sir."

"These guys have to be professionals. There's no way new guys could start out making 99.1% pure meth."

"Most commonly, meth cookers use pseudoephedrine, but the report doesn't show any use of it." Reid stated.

"Pse? What Reid? Where do you even get that?" Emily asked.

"Pseudoephedrine. It's common in cough medication. Most of the time, these guy have people under them who buy a few packages here and there to go undetected."

"What does that tell us Reid?" Hotch asked.

"That these guys are smart."

"Wheels up in twenty."

"Alright guys go back to the hotel and get some rest." Hotch said dismissing his team. Emily stayed behind with Aaron. "Wouldn't that include you too?" Emily asked.

"I have work to do..." Aaron said, trying to ignore the way she was slightly rubbing his back.

"We aren't going to be able to do anything with a break in the case if you don't get some rest too..."

Aaron opened his mouth to say something but didn't. He now looked down into the puppy dog eyes Emily was showing him. She wrapped her hands around his waist. He leaned down to kiss her, but she stopped him.

"Not here." She whispered.

He took one of her hands and practically dragged her out of the DEA headquarters and across the street to their hotel. They barely got the door open before kissing. Five minutes later, the phone rang.

Hotch groaned from deep within his throat and separated their lips. He went for his phone.

"Hello?" He asked a tad bit annoyed.

"Daddy!" shouted Avery. His frown instantly disappeared and he waved Emily over.

"Hi Princess!" Aaron and Emily said in unison as Emily sat next to him on the bed. He put it on speaker. "How are you and Jack?" Emily asked.

"We're good." How are you and Daddy?"

"We're good too." Aaron answered, smiling at Emily.

"Ask if they're coming home soon." Aaron and Emily could hear Jack say.

"Jack wants to know when you guys are coming home."

"As soon as we can, baby."

"We miss you!" Jack and Avery said in unison before taking turns to tell about their day.

Emily went to the restroom while Aaron talked to Jack. But even after they said goodnight, she hasn't returned. Aaron knocked on the door.

Emily quietly cleared her voice. "Just a minute." She wiped her eyes and opened the door, looking down.

"Emily, what's wrong?" Aaron asked hoping he could help.

It's just I don't want the kids to get into anything like drugs..."

"Oh, Emily...." He said as she fell into his arms, the tears returning to her eyes.

Aaron rubbed her back as they stood. Her crying slowed, and he was able to move her toward the bed. He sat down next to her. She calmed down after a few minutes.

They were not able to solve the case. As soon as they got close to a break in the case, the meth stopped showing up. That wasn't good. The team stayed for two more days just in case something new happened, but nothing did.

Reid looked cover the case files again. Was he missing something? He couldn't come to a conclusion, so he sat looking at the file. JJ moved seats and sat by Reid. He looked up from the file.

"Hey JJ."

"You know you didn't miss anything right? You did your best, just like the rest of us."

"I know... It's just..."

"We didn't solve the case?"

"Yeah..."

"Spence, there's cases we haven't solved before and there will be more that we can't solve. We still don't know who the Zodiac Killer is. Plus, they have our information, if they need us; they know where to find us."

That made Reid feel a little better, he didn't feel like he was a failure.

"I bet Henry is excited to see his favorite uncle again." JJ said, just to see him smile.

"I'm excited to see him too." Spencer said with a dorky smile.

Everyone got home safe and sound and each was happy to be home after a case.

Hotch gave the team a day off, mostly for himself and Emily, her and Avery were not fully settled in yet.
