"I hate when we don't get 'em." Derek said softly as he lay next to Penelope, his arms folded behind his head.

Penelope ran a hand up his chest. "I know, Mister Big Tough guy." she smiled slightly.

He looked down at her head on his chest."You know what you are babygirl?" he asked as he kissed her temple.

"What I am I?" she asked, slightly nervous, slightly excited.

"You are...my light. My star who shines through the darkest night. The one who can always make me smile when I know everything might go downhill."

"Aww," Penelope cooed, leaning up to kiss him. T

hey both smiled as the kiss deepened, his arms going around her waist hers around his neck.

"They are all yours." Jessica said as she left the Hotchner-Prentiss household. "Avery is asleep, but I think Jack is in bed reading. We went to the bookstore today."

"Thanks Jess, you know you didn't have to." Aaron said as Emily nodded and yawned, leaning against Aaron.

"Well I wanted to! I hope it's okay Emily, I also bought Avery a picture book. It's about a bear or something."

"Thank you so much, Jess." Emily said softly as she tried to hide another yawn.

"Alright, I'll leave you to it! Bye!" Jess called, barely giving the couple time to call out a farewell.

As the two brunettes walked into Aaron's bedroom, after confirming that the two kids were both, in fact, asleep. Emily quickly slid out of her pants and shirt and pulled on an old FBI academy shirt.

Aaron grinned at her bare thighs before walking over to her. "Hi." he whispered.

"Hello."

"You are amazing."

"You are amazing-er."

His laugh was soft and clear. "I don't know how old you are physically, but mentally you are about seven."

"I feel like I should be offended you don't know my birthday."

"October 12th 19-" he was cut off by a kiss.

"Don't you dare, old man."

He winked. "If you had let me finish, you would have had no right to call me old."

Emily huffed and crawled to the opposite side of the bed, her back to Aaron. She grinned when she felt his breath, hot against the back of her neck. She suppressed a moan as he ghosted his lips right beneath her ear, at the tip of her jaw.

Finally, she couldn't take it anymore and rolled over on top of him as their lips met in a heated kiss.

"I wish Will would let me take him tomorrow. I think we both need him around." JJ said softly as she sat next to Spencer on the couch.

"I love your son, JJ. You know that right?" Spencer said so quietly he thought JJ hadn't heard him.

"Spence...I know. And Henry knows too." JJ said softly, gently leaning into his side. It was a simple movement, but it made both of them more aware of the other. He slowly, hesitantly placed his head atop of her blonde hair. It was soft and smelled like...Spring. Fresh.

It made him smile. After a few minutes, he noticed her breathing had deepened and she had fallen asleep.

He tried to get her up, but she was too heavy for him.
