Captain Krishnan ordered Nathuram to inform Raghuvaran in bunker V12 to raise the alert and call all the troops to the enter of the camp.
By the time, the troops arrived, many more glowing eyes were advancing upon us. Krishnan ordered all the troops to remain alert and be on guard and suddenly the firing started.
It was scene of complete chaos and fiasco, it was as though the light had been turned off and everything stopped suddenly! All around there were bodies lying on the ground. There was blood everywhere and the scene was very disturbing. Raghuram was sporting a bleeding arm and Nathuram had a bad bruise on his left arm, and Natarajan was leaning on a nearby tree, one of his bleeding very profusely, one of my legs was so painful that I thought it would be better if I cut it off. All around us the number of glowing eyes had decreased but still we were out numbered by five to twenty.
Suddenly I felt a sharp pain on the back of my head, which made by vision blurry. All around me all I could were the groans of my fellow comrades. Then everything went black, but a shrill voice inside my head told me that we were not in the favor of lady luck.
