Geralt had built a fire for the two of them to warm themselves, since the sun was setting and their clothes were soaked. Celeste on the other hand was busy trying to make a mixture of the herbs she found in the surrounding area to rub on her wounds to decrease the pain and the risk of infection. With her hands Celeste crushed the small leaves and mixed them with some of the mud near the stream, rubbing what had now become a paste on her wounds.

Celeste propped her back against the tree and took a deep breath, her hand going towards her aching ribs, she definitely needed to rest for a few days for her wounds and bruises to heal at least a little, but she couldn't get it out of her head that she needed to find Alma. It wouldn't be the first time Celeste had neglected her body, besides, she was a witcher and this was what witchers did, they broke every bone, were covered in scars and never stopped.

"How are you feeling?" Geralt asked, sitting down next to Celeste and stretching out his arm to give her some blackberries that he had found in the surrounding area "Roach should find me soon, she's good at knowing where I end up" he smiled lightly, picking up a blackberry and bringing it to his mouth.

"I've been worse" Celeste replied, taking the blackberries to her mouth and closing her eyes as she chewed them "Roach?"

"It's my horse" he commented, his eyes still fixed on her, trying to believe that this was real "it feels like I'm dreaming".
