I walked into my math class. Nothing could distract me in math, I loved math and I understand it. I sat down and got out my books.

*WOULD AUBREY WILLSON PLEASE COME TO THE OFFICE? AUBREY WILLSON.*

I stood up, wondering why I'd been called to the office. I hadn't done anything wrong.  I could hear the girls whispering and boys saying “OOOOOOOOO” As i walked out.

I walked into the office and stood before the secretary. She just sat there continuing to read her romance novel. She then looked up.

“ May I help you.” she grumbled.

“Uhm- yes i was called up here-?

She rolled her eyes and handed me a note.

“Here.” she grumbled before going back to her novel.

“I- Thank you” I said , forcing a smile.

“Yeah Yeah you're welcome or whatever, go back to class.”

I walked out of the office. Well her husband isn't doing something right. I thought ,walking down the hall.

I walked towards my class holding the note. I wondered what it was.

I opened the note slowly.

My heart dropped as I read the contents.

It read….

Aubrey, I'm sorry Ive been missing the last couple of years. I can't tell you where I am. Go upstairs to my room when you get home. Look under my dresser. You will find a small yellow box, open that box and take whatever's inside and hide it somewhere he won't check. Everything will make sense soon. Be careful I love you. -Avery

What? Avery? Box? Who is he? I have so many questions, yet none of them can be answered because I don't know where to find her. I felt my eyes fill with warm tears. I felt them slowly run down my face. Should I go back to class? Or Should I go home? I told Cloud I'd meet her at the coffee shop. I walked back to class and sat down slowly. The teacher stopped his class and looked at me. "Are you ok Aubrey? " The whole class turned to Look at me. "Yes, I'm ok.” He shrugged and went back to the lesson. I held the note in horror. Avery.. She’d been missing for 3 years and all of a sudden this note showed up saying it was from her? Is this some kind of sick joke? I had so many questions and not one of them I could answer. I’ll ask Cloudy and Brail for advice after school.
