I have read this RWBY and Overlord (2012) crossover FanFic story named 'Something Wicked This Way Comes' by 'I am but two days old' and while it does follow the formula really strictly from Momonga with his interaction with the NPCs but nothing is much more fun to read than seeing Raven Branwen get thrown to her face of her social darwinistic philosophy and it is actually a cathartic joy to read.
So, this prologue will be where I am going to do this.
It feels like I am copying and I apologize but right now, it's time for that bitch to know how it feels being not only weak but also a dumbass.

The female leader of the Branwen Tribe...
Formerly a member of Team STRQ, Raven had been given some 'tough love' by her tribe of bandits to drilled into her head of believing in how the strong lives and the weak dies and she remembered how her mother had taught her and her brother to be the epitome of strength by abusing them and harshly train them to be ruthless, cruel, strong and dangerous.
Her mother succeed it alright.
Both Raven and her brother, Qrow Branwen, thought of inducting themselves into Beacon Academy into be trained in having the skill and the power of a Huntsman, especially by their usage of Aura, the energy shield that protect the mortal body from harm, and Semblance, the varied powers that mirror a Huntsman's behaviour, personality and soul.
And they succeeded it so much that Raven and Qrow becomes the most skilled, talented and prestigious students in Beacon Academy, becoming a member of Team STRQ, consisting of other members, Taiyang Xiao Long and Summer Rose.

So, before they were graduated, both she and her brother had been visited by Ozpin, headmaster of Beacon Academy in something.
A secret that that makes all the life about the fight against the Grimm gets all the more complicated.
There is a great enemy on the horizon.
A being who commanded the Grimm in the destruction of both humankind and Faunuskind as well.
One that is so old that Ozpin had tried to fight tooth and nail against the likes of her.
Salem.
That is the name that she must watch out for.
Ozpin tried to bring the Branwen into his inner circle for the safety and security of the people but Raven is hardly phased by that as she got what she was tasked for and split off in less than ideal terms.
