Felix woke up surrounded by warmth. He hummed softly at the feeling. He enjoyed this and it had been forever since he was able to sleep cuddled up to his favorite person. The person changed over the years but boy was he happy with who it was now. He didn't notice the ravenette had woken up until he heard the other's rough morning voice.
"Good morning, Lixie." Changbin's voice was like music to Felix's ears and the blonde boy could imagine waking up like this every morning, the simple thought of it brought him pure comfort and bliss.
The male with freckled cheeks turned around to face the raven haired male who's arms were wrapped around the blonde's petite waist. At some point during the night Felix must've turned away from the other but his buff arm did make a surprisingly good pillow so he wasn't surprised at the matter. "Hi~" Felix's voice was deep and soft as he smiled sleepily while looking into Changbin's dark eyes.
Changbin chuckled softly while looking at the shorter's gentle looking features. He tucked a stray strand of hair behind the other's ear. He couldn't stop the smile from spreading on his face. "How did you sleep, hun?" He threw in a nickname because he wasn't fully awake and also he just felt like it was necessary.
Felix felt his cheeks and ears grow slightly warm but he didn't mind the butterflies that formed in his stomach at the pet name. "Best sleep of my life." He paused, thinking about that for a moment. It was no word of a lie, last night was the best he'd slept in forever. "How about you, Bin, hm?" He hummed while closing his eyes, relaxing in the other's strong yet gentle hold.
"Same as you." The dark haired boy responded simply and honestly. A small and polite smile pulled at his lips even though he knew that the blonde boy in front of him had his eyes closed and was still half asleep.
Felix took a deep breath, "how long do you want to stay here?" Felix asked, hoping the dark haired boy would want to stay for a while. He really didn't want him to return home seeing as he was in such bad shape when arriving at Felix's house.
Changbin shrugged which Felix felt due to their position. "I'm not sure... How long am I allowed to stay?" He questioned the blonde.
"Fuck, I don't know. Gimme a sec." He rubbed his eyes quietly before sitting up and placing his own hands on Changbin's that had continued to reside on his waist.
Changbin gently grabbed hold of the other's very small and seemingly fragile hands, "no, no, let's go back to sleep, I'm tired." The dark haired boy quietly groaned while looking at the shorter male who was trying to get out of his firm grasp.
Felix shook his head, "I'm gonna go ask about you staying here and then we can go back to sleep." He offered the larger male a small and sort of sheepish smile to which said boy couldn't argue with so he just let the blonde go, he himself curling up in the duvet on Felix's bed.
Felix couldn't help but smile a slightly proud smile while looking down at the now soft looking male in his bed, all cuddled up in his covers. It gave him such a sense of comfort that it swelled in his chest — how did he get so lucky?
