Understanding These Feelings

It was a nice evening. The sun was almost down and the Pokémon were heading back home or finding a place to rest. The clouds had a beautiful color to them, and the laboratory was looking quite nice.

We see Ash doing what he does best at, eating to his heart's content. "These is real good" He said once done swallowing his food. "That's Ash for you." Goh said watching his friend eat.

"Thanks Ash, that means a lot." Chloe said with a small pink tint on her cheeks, Aah smiled at her and he ate more.

The three of them talked with on another and had small talk. Ash was mainly eating and listening to how Chloe's day went. He stared at her more and surprisingly he wasn't eating and was just. Staring.

Goh saw these and he snapped his fingers a few times. "Ash?" He said and he didn't respond. Soon Goh spoke once again. "Earth to Ash, snap out of it." He said slightly shoving his shoulder and he then was out of his trance.

"H-huh, what did you need Goh?" He asked him. "You were staring at Chloe for the past 4 minutes, you alright?" He asked making sure his friend isn't ill or something below those words.

"Oh I'm doing alright." He said smiling back. "You sure?" He said having to confirm if he was alright or not. "Yeah, I'm alright." Ash said.

He then wondered why he was staring at Chloe for so long, he then shook it off as if it wasn't anything important and began to eat the food she made.

While eating and listening to his friends talk, he noticed something about the food. He was thinking and soon he widened his eyes. 'That's not possible, how come her food taste better than my mom's cooking.' He was shocked of course.

He was confused on how that was possible and his mom makes the best meals he ever had, his friends make great meals but his mom is ranked top. So why did Chloe's cooking taste better than hers.

'She probably added something to the food that makes it so delicious so maybe it's nothing.' He thought and ate. Soon the three of them were done and Ash went up the stairs to go and get ready for bed after they were done cleaning up the kitchen.

"Man I feel tired." Ash said to Pikachu. "I'm gonna take a shower, alright bud?" He said making sure Pikachu heard him. "Pika Pi." Pikachu nodded his head and Ash smiled.

He then walked into the bathroom and soon turned the water on. While taking a shower he was thinking about what happened earlier. "Why was I staring at her, four whole minutes. It felt like I was only staring for a couple of seconds. Also why did her food taste so gosh darn good?" He spoke to himself.

Once done taking his shower he came out and felt great. Then he brushed his teeth and came down the stairs to see Chloe and Goh playing a game of paper, rock, scissors.

"How come do I keep losing?" Goh said and Chloe laughed at these. Ash found it entertaining and watched the two play these game. "Wow Chloe, your pretty good at reading Goh's mind" He said complimenting her.

"Why thanks Ash, I know what his thinking right now." She said jokingly. "Alright I'm gonna win these one for sure." Goh said confidently.

Then they played and he lost once again. "Okay that's it, I'm going to go and take a shower." He said remembering Ash was done and was waiting for him.

He left to go take a shower, leaving Chloe and Ash alone. "Chloe." Ash spoke. "Yeah Ash?" Chloe looked his way. "You gonna take a shower?" He asked her to which she responded.

"I already did, before you two came back." She said. "Alright." He said.

They made some small talk and for whatever reason Ash felt his stomach flutter, it didn't make him feel weird or sick but he was confused to these feeling in his stomach.
