INSATIABLE

Chapter 23

"Chaeng!" I scream as I run towards her after the graduation ceremony finally finished. She was wearing the classic black gown and she was holding her hat in her hand along with her diploma I couldn't believe how long the ceremony had lasted.

I throw myself in her arms, giving her a huge kiss before standing back to let her parents congratulate her.

We'd been dating now for almost 3 years and every day was more spectacular than the one before. I was completely head over heels in love with Chaeyoung and somehow she loves me too.

She takes my hand as we start to weave through the crowd to get to where her parent's car was. They were taking us out to dinner to celebrate and I was incredibly excited because it was supposed to be one of the best restaurants in the area way too expensive for me to ever be able to afford on my own.

We didn't have to wait when we got there since they'd already made reservations, we were immediately escorted to a table in the back which had an unbelievable view of the city.

Chaeyoung look beyond sexy as we occupy our seats.

She was wearing a charcoal grey button up shirt with a classic black tie and non-pleated black khakis with a black belt that had a small silver buckle.

If I had my choice I think I'd rather eat her but we are in a public place the restaurant food and her presence will be suffice for now. 

I absolutely enjoy every minute of spending time with her parents also whom I'd visited several times over the course of the past 3 years.

When we were finish, we left and head to mine and Chaeyoung's favorite ice cream stand for dessert. I order a large hot fudge sundae and Ernest joined me, saying he'd been good all week so he deserve one.

"So Mina you still have one year left right?" Chaeyoung's mother ask while she lick her small cone of chocolate ice cream.

I nod my head, nursing takes 5 years to completely "Yup and I have an internship here over the summer so I won't be going home this year but my parent's are coming to visit in a few days so at least I'll get to see them then."

"And in the fall you two plan on moving in together?" she further questions and this time Chaeyoung chime in.

"Mina is going to move in with me at the end of the summer when her lease runs out and her roommate is having someone else move in."

Nayeon hadn't been extremely pleased when I told her that I was moving out so that I could live with, she was extremely suspicious with Chaeyoung but over time she'd grown to like her.

It actually had worked out really well in the end because a friend of Nayeon ended up needing a place to live so she was moving in in my place.

Chaeyoung had already gotten a job at a nearby company and would be starting in a week but she was also continuing her education here, going for her masters.

"Mina!" someone yells from the small parking lot and my head immediately jolt up, I know that voice.

I stand up, looking around the area and finally I spot my mother with her hands stretch out as she races towards me.

"Mom!" I scream, leaning on her in a tight hug, surprise clear on my face. "What are you doing here? I thought you were coming in a couple days."

"Well we tried to get here for your girlfriend's graduation ceremony but our plane got delayed" my father says, moving up beside us and I turn and give him a huge hug when my mother release me.

During spring break Chaeyoung and I had gone to visit my parents and they'd quickly taken a liking to her much to my relief. My dad wasn't always the easiest person to please but as soon as Chaeyoung had started talking to him about medical topics and sports they had bonded.

When I turn back around to introduce my parent's to Chaeyoung's parents, the sight I see made me gasp and clutch my throat in shock. Kneeling on the ground was Chaeyoung holding a small box in her hand as she stares up at me.

"Mina I asked your parents to come early because I wanted them to be here for this. We've only been together for 3 years and I know it's time that I propose, I've known since the first moment I saw you that I wanted to spend the rest of my life with you, I love you, Would you do me the honor of marrying me?"

I didn't need to think for even a second to answer her. I loved her and I wanted nothing more than to spend the rest of my life with her.

"Yes! Yes of course I'll marry you" I answer and didn't wait for her to stand up before I throw my arms around her, knocking us both to the ground.

I was surprise by the applause I heard when I finally got up from the ground. All around us people were clapping and cheering and I couldn't help the blush growing, covering nearly my entire face.

My mom was the first to congratulate me, hugging me tightly followed by Chaeyoung's mother who had tears in her eyes. When we disengage, she told me that the ring was something had been passed down for generations in their family. The ring had been her great-grandmothers and I feel overwhelm by the gift.

"Don't worry honey my husband bought me something to replace it with" Chaerin assures holding out her tiny had which had a huge diamond ring resting on it.

It wasn't until late that night when our parent's had finally gone to their hotel rooms that Chaeyoung and I were alone. The passion between us had only increased over these 3 years and it still surprised me every time.

"Thank you" I said as I wrap my arms around her body as we lie in bed together. "I couldn't have asked for a more perfect evening."

"Thank you for saying yes" she said and kisses me on my forehead.
