11. Don't Tease Me Little Kat

"He took you to the torch???? That has been closed off to the public for like... ever? Are you dating an 80-year-old billionaire who's trying to blow all his dollars before he crocks???? If so does he have friends" Serenity asked in our group facetime chat.

"No, he's very much young and well rich"

After our Liberty dinner, Enzo took me to Central Park where we got ice cream and I stunned him with my rendition of many Missy Elliot and Nicki Minaj raps. He walked me to my door and before letting my hand go, he gave it a firm kiss on my knuckles and told me that it was 'honor' and then he left.

"So, he didn't sleep over?" Opal said in a timid voice while glancing at me with hopeful eyes.

"No, we didn't even kiss! Well he kissed my hand but not my lips or cheeks, although I kind of wish he did kiss me on the lips."

"He treated you right?" Opal questioned.

"He was a gentleman, honestly,"

"He didn't make you feel uncomfortable. Or try to make you answer questions that were hard? Or look at you like a pig? Did he-"

"OPAL, why don't take it one question at a time, hmm" Isabelle said.

"Right" she said indifferently while shifting a little in her seat. She looked up and said, "are you happy... did he make you happy"

"Yes, I don't think anyone has made me this happy I couldn't stop smiling."

After about 2 minutes of silence, I chuckled nervously and said "what y'all?" 

Breaking the silence Opal picked her head up and with a sad smile simply said, "we're just happy you found your person, we just want you to find the person who gives you everything you deserve and more princess."

Before I could say anything, Opal said, "this has been a nice break but I have to get back to studying, bye guys", and she was out. 

"You know what I'm going to go help Opal study" Daisy said, " Barb I'm so happy your date went great, and he treated you like the princess you are! Love you guys I'll talk to you later.

"Daisy is a better friend than all of us, I would never give up Friday night- to read " Isabelle said.

Earning laughs from Serenity and I, Isabelle continued with Opal's line of questioning. After about 30 minutes I told the girls it was time for bed and that I would see them later.

Good night and love you's were heard before I hit the end button. Heading into my bathroom I started to do my nighttime skin care routine, daydreaming about my Enzo.

My? Enzo ugh when did I turn into one of those love struck teenager's like don't get me wrong the date was amazing, but I still don't know much about him.

Right as I was about to hop into bed my phone started to vibrate

"Hello"

"I was kind of hoping you were asleep so I could leave you a cute voicemail to wake up to about how beautiful you are!"

"I can definitely hang up so you can make that happen"

"Don't tease me little Kat"

"Or what??"

"You'll find out soon enough. So, um I was wondering if I could take you out again?"

"Really?"

Enzo is nice to me don't get me wrong, but he doesn't strike me as the type to call a girl after a date let alone only a few hours after that date.

"Isn't there a proper dating attique where you're supposed to wait at least one day before calling them back, let alone asking for another date?"

"Why would I willingly try to keep myself from a goddess? Whoever made that rule is an idiot"

"A goddess huh?"

"I'm pretty sure you escaped heaven when god wasn't looking, and I promise you I won't be that foolish!"

"Excuse me I gotta go gag little I don't think I can handle all this crap."

"Oh shut up you love it. So umm tomorrow date night?"

"TOMORROW?"

"Just say yes principessa."

"Ok, yes"

"Ok I'll pick you up at 2 and dress casual my little farfalla I'm gonna put you to work. Sleep tight, and make sure you dream about me!"

And that night I did dream about Enzo, and the dream was very steamy.

Enzo such a simp... I'm jealous 😔
