I know I should be thinking about a way out of here, and how to get the Russians on my side.

"We've been here for a few hours. Don't tell me you already lost your mind?" Matteo boomed from across the room.
I guess I said that last part out loud.
"No but did you see that fucking ape try to manhandle MY girlfriend, "I emphasized.
"Did you just really call her your girlfriend... dude you're tied up while your mafia is nursing wounds that were caused by her and her mafia today," He jabbed.
"We're a modern-day Mr. & Mrs. Smith," I shrug.
"You know what? I'll leave you and your delusions to yourself; we need to think about more important things like what are we going to do when they don't believe what's on the laptop."
Glancing at the guards I see they're all still in their own worlds and not paying much attention to Matteo and I besides giving us a hard stare every few minutes.
But the stare is more for themselves, so they see that I'm still here... people really want to get paid to do less then the bare minimum.
I can respect that, they probably don't even make a livable wage, so why work that hard.
On my laptop were my notes from my mafia meeting with the leaders of the- French, Canadian, Swedish, and Spanish mafia.
The meeting was led by the Spanish underboss- Carlos who's acting as the current boss since Coastal is missing.
Carlos is an old sexist fucker and one of my dads' oldest friends.
He was apart of some meeting over 2 decades ago where him and the bosses of the American, German, and Zimbabwean mafias led by Vlad Inavov railroaded my dad into giving up his child sex trafficking ring.
Claiming to take a page out of Vlad's playbook, Carlos in that meeting told the French, Canadian, Swedish mafia bosses, and myself that Vlad broke a mafia rule and like it happened in history they must come together and punish him for what he did.
Mafia children are huge liabilities because if they're taken, mafia bosses will do just shy of about anything to get their mini me back.
Most mafia's do leave children out of it and wouldn't kidnap one but if someone is desperate enough or the opportunity presents itself - well its Katerina's case they forget the status quo.
Katerina's case was sad and rare, but the fact that he got his daughter back and pretended that she was dead has a few mafias in arms. They're claiming that Vlad doing this goes against the loyal and honest persona he has.
