Cheryl took a bite from a sandwich that Archie had made.
"I hope Toni is okay, I hope this weird-ass universe doesn't ruin our love." She pouted.
"Call her." Said Veronica, accidentally slamming the fridge door.
The phone started to ring and Cheryl bit her lip and Toni answered.
"Hey babe! What's up?"
Cheryl sighed from relief then said. "Could you come round to Betty's? We have to talk to you."
"I'll be there soon!" She said, and the beep beep of her hanging up made Cheryl smile.
After a couple of minutes they heard a knock on the door and Cheryl answered it.
"Hey babe!" Said Toni, kissing Cheryl's cheek.
"Hey darling! Come on in!" Said Cheryl, bringing Toni into the kitchen.
"Everyone's gathered around like it's a meeting." She chuckled.
"Toni... have you seen anything strange here today?"
Toni's eyes widened and she nodded. "Yes! I keep seeing people being sad because Jason's dead but he died like 2 years ago!"
"We think there's something wrong with the universe." Says Betty, holding Jugheads hand.
Cheryl clasped Toni's hand and winked at her.
"I'm gonna go to Thornhill manor quickly, Oh Toni you would not believe it, Mumsie was being nice to me this morning! I tell you Toni I was shocked!"
Toni gasped. "No way!"
"I cant deal with it so Betty invited me to stay for a bit."
Betty smiled. "Feel free to stay too Toni."
Toni smiled at Betty. "Thanks."
"I'm gonna go get some stuff from Thornhill manor." Said Cheryl.
"I'll come too." Said Toni and they walked out the house together, holding hands.
"Archie, did you search the kitchen yet?" Asked Veronica.
"Yup, nothing to connect us to this weird universe."

Meanwhile, Cheryl and Toni were in their room and Toni kept glancing at Cheryl, she was wearing an outfit that made Toni want to kiss Cheryl.

Toni sat on the bed.
Cheryl smirked at her. "Come on babe, we have to go back to Betty's."
Toni kissed Cheryl and whispered. "I love you, I hope this weird-ass universe doesn't ruin anything."
Cheryl smiled and kissed Toni back.
"I said the exact same thing earlier."
Toni held Cheryl's hand and smiled. "Let's go."

When they got back, Betty was on call with Alice and Archie and Veronica were sitting in the kitchen, and Jughead was upstairs getting dressed.
"What if..." said Cheryl sitting on the floor and making a picture on the dusty floor with her finger.
"There are many universes in the world, correct?"
Betty nodded.
"An infinite amount, so what if there's an universe out there that is the exact same as ours. Always having the same conversation as us at all times."
Betty nodded, leaning forward.
"Maybe some weird science thing happened and the universes got mixed up, so everything that's normal for us is weird for them in that universe and same for them."
Betty nodded, and bit her lip before saying. "So we need to find the universe and figure out a way to make both of them go back to normal."
"Exactly!" Said Cheryl standing up and wiping dust from her knees.
"How the fuck do we do that."
Cheryl shrugged. "Doesn't Jughead know lots about universes and shit like that?"
Betty nodded enthusiastically and called Jughead downstairs before they heard a bang at the door, it seems the gargoyle king was no longer a mystery. But who was the gargoyle king in the real Riverdale?
