You inhaled deeply as you felt the exhaustion wash over you for the fifth time that day. Your hands worked nonetheless on cleaning up the dishes from dinner before your husband came back from a concert trip in Japan. A small, yet powerful, kick pushed against your rib cage making you groan.

"Mommy! Mommy!" your three-year-old shouted, running into the kitchen. You cringed at the loud shouts echoing into the high ceiling room.

"Don't shout," you reprimanded, softly. "What is it?"

The little girl clung desperately to your knee and dramatically threw her head back with an impatient tone, "When is Daddy coming home? You said in a little while! Has it been a little while?"

You giggled softly under your breath and patted her head softly. She had her daddy's eyes and hair with your rosy cheeks and soft completion. She got her attitude and impatience from your husband though, and you didn't like that aspect of her. But on the bright side, you were working on it with her.

"He'll be home any minute. Just listen for the garage door to open." you cooed at the little girl before watching her run off with an excited smile. Grabbing a hand towel, you dried your hands and then wiped the counters down. Just about the time, you were finished, the familiar sound of the garage door opening caught your little girl's attention.

"Daddy!" the girl screamed as soon as the laundry room door opened. Doyoung appeared around the corner of the laundry room and smiled widely at the excited child who ran to give him a hug.

"Ah, my beautiful flower!" he sighed happily, getting down on his knees as he engulfed her in a bear hug. Another sharp kick to the ribs shot up into your shoulder.

"Okay, it's time for bed," you smiled. "Our deal was that you could stay up until Daddy got home."

The girl pouted and squeezed Doyoung a little tighter before running up to you and squeezing your knees again trying to convince you to let her stay up longer, making you stumble slightly. Doyoung's eyes widened and he rushed over to hold you up. He bent down and came face to face with your girl.

"We don't grab Mommy at the legs. She could fall and get hurt." Doyoung spoke seriously and gently. "Now go get ready for bed like Mommy told you to do." She ran off toward her room with a little nod.

Doyoung stood up and smiled at you softly. He sneaked his hand around your waist and leaned down to your ear. "And my beautiful Rose."

His lips came down and pressed a strong awaited kiss to your mouth, melting into you. Your hands came up freely to gently rake the hair with your fingertips at the bottom of his hairline. He pulled away slightly when you huffed into the kiss. The baby had kicked you again.

"What's the matter?" Doyoung furrowed his eyebrows. His concern spiked when you groaned holding your ribs at the pain. "Is the baby kicking you?"

"She's kicked me in the same place all day." you sighed opening your eyes and giving him a small smile. He leaned down and kissed you once more, laying a hand gently on your tummy.

"The things you do for me," Doyoung said, pulling away. He glanced around the kitchen. "I'm going to tuck our little flower into bed and you are going to go get ready for bed."

"Okay." you obeyed, parting from him to turn off all the lights in the house while he left to go take care of your little flower.

"How did he save her?" a small voice questioned as you neared the bright pink room.

You peeked around the corner to see Doyoung laying next to your little girl on her bed. She was hugging his strong bicep and staring up at the twinkling fairy lights, that were falling down from the ceiling inside her fairy net. Doyoung had his other arm behind his head also staring at the lights.

"He took her by the hand, asked her to be his princess, and saved her from the evil prince who she was forced to fall in love with," Doyoung explained, turning the story of how you met into a fairytale. "And when he became King, he asked her to be his Queen and they had two beautiful little flowers."

Doyoung's eyes flowed over to where you were and smiled. The little girl beside him fell into a deep slumber as the deep gentle words of the ending fell from his lips, "And they lived happily ever after."

"I love you." you mouth to Doyoung, resting your head on the door frame.

"I love you too." Doyoung mouthed back.

Just like that, you were living in a fairytale with everything you had ever wanted.
