Veronica Meyers, your normal every day cafe worker that's what she looks like... Well she sure isn't your normal worker as she has the ability to open portals in her dreams. Each and every night a portal would open. Entering it she would end up in random worlds, it was always a new one. After a while she got used to it, there was no harm in enjoying it.This all started back when she met this lady on the street. Seeing that she needed help Veronica went up to her. The odd thing was that all the lady would mutter was, "You must be the one." Repeated the lady, she heard these words all the way up until she made it across the street. When they got there the lady handed Veronica a strange ring, a bright red ruby placed on the top. Veronica found the ring very pretty so she decided to keep it. The moment she placed it on her finger was the moment she could never take it off. That was the day her first dream portal opened up.
When she got to bed that night falling asleep Veronica woke up in a weird room, the room was plain white only a door laid in it. Making her way to the door she soon opened it. Immediately after the door swooped her in, closing her eyes she waited for an impact. Though it never came, confused she opened her eyes once again. A wonderful sight entering her vision, a beautiful garden all around her. One could tell how carefully it was taken care of. After snapping out of her daze Veronica began to look around. She has many questions but decided to save them for later, after all there wasn't anyone around to ask them about it.
She walked around for what had felt like hours, still believing it was a dream she tried pinching herself. That didn't seem to work though as the small pain was very vivid. Giving up she decided to continue to walk, after hours finally seeing an exit. The moment she exited a tall man entered her view. "Why hello, you've arrived very late it seems.." Said the mysterious man, taking Veronicas hand they set off. "Where am I and what do you mean late?" Questioned Veronica, she had many questions she wanted answers for. "No time to explain let's get thee quickly!" The tour guide said, hurrying their pace. Veronica tried her best to keep up but it was hard to with the speed they were going at.
The guide came to an unexpected stop, Veronica finally having time to catch her breath huffed. Finally catching her breath she was about to ask the guide the questions. That was until she took a closer look, an exact replica of the garden she had fell into entered her sight. A lion in one seat, a woman in the other, a man with a hat quiet tall, and finally a giant standing right next to them. She looked around spotting two empty seats waiting to be filled in the tea table. "Let's take a seat!" Cheered the guide, leading Veronica to the table they both sat down. "Finally, you've arrived." Said the woman, rolling her eyes. "Where am I?" Questioned Veronica. "The tea party of course." Said the man in a tall hat, pouring the tea for them all in the process. The rest of the tea party proceeded without much interruption. Finally it seems that it had come to an end, Veronica about to talk suddenly feel down a hole, which had opened up directly under her. "Bye bye!" Shouted the all tea party guest.
Veronica yelled as she fell, but a sudden stop interrupted her. It seemed that she arrived at the white room once again. Looking around she saw the previous door was no longer to be seen, a new one taking it's place. Thinking that the door would lead her back she rushed in, oh how wrong she was. Falling down once again she arrived at...her room! Confusion plastered on her face, deciding that the previous events was just a dream she moved on. That was until it kept repeating over and over, all this made her more confused but she ended up accepting it. There just wasn't a way to make it stop. Just like that her adventures began.
