The kingdom Hatten and the kingdom Karssel, they both resided right next to each other. The leaders competitive personalities had lead to a long history of bad blood between them. Passed down from generation to generation it never ceased, instead growing stronger. Hatten, a kingdom know for its top quality fabrics, many aristocrats often stop by it just because of that. Karssel was known for its highly trained knights, aristocrats also visit here often. The children of the two kingdoms would always end up following along with their rivalry. Again and again it was endless fight, invading each other kingdom both never successful. That was how it had always been now was the time our two protagonists take charge. Kaden and Taylor, they were the worst out of the whole family. Even at social events the two never seemed to stop bickering, their parents have long gotten used to it. What they didn't know was that the two were just putting that up front.
It all started a long while ago, Kaden from the kingdom of Hatten had been invited to a banquet. His first ever time attending on matter a fact, this banquet was a special one as it was a masquerade. With mask concealing their identities no one worried about getting caught up with rumors. The hall was filled with bustling noises, as Kayden entered immediately scoped away by the crowd. Ending up lost he couldn't really do much but wander. After a long period of time it seems that he ended up in a small little garden, before he could go further in sounds of ruffling in the bushes were heard. "Is someone there..?" Asked Kaden, taking a step back. There was no response about to leave a sudden head popped out of the bushes before he could. The moment he met eyes with the little figure his heart fluttered. The two made eye contact for a while until the little one in the bush spoke up, "My name's Taylor, what's yours?" He said, a bright smile appeared on his face. Shaking out of his days Kaden replied, "I'm Kaden!" The two chatted away for quiet a while until the time had come to part. Reluctantly Kaden waved goodbye and made his way back to where his family was. How he wished to see that cute little face again...
Years later, the two had reunited a shocking truth relaid to them. Kaden nor Taylor had expected them to be enemies, this left an impact on the two but their feeling seemed to have stayed the same. Keeping in contact without their parents knowing they bonded a lot over the years. An upcoming event Kaden was helping prepare was when he hopped to see Taylor again, it was also the very day he decided to confess on. After many long years he no longer could handle not confessing. People all over Kaydens castle rushed around to prepare for the event as it was today. Preparing himself he got ready a few things, taking deep breaths he was ready. Grabbing a few things he then set off to greet the guest.
Upon arriving he begins to start greeting them, people flooding in all excited for the event. Catching sight of Taylor he rushes up to greet him. "Taylor!" Cheered Kayden, as he pulled Taylor into a tight hug. "I missed you too." Said Taylor chuckling. Before they could talk any longer it seems that Kadens mom already called for him before there was a chance to converse. Sadly waving Kaden left, the reason was that it seems the event was about to start. The king making an announcement that the party had started. Cheers and laughter flooded the air, it seems that things were going smoothly. Excusing himself Kaden had gone to look for Taylor once again.
Arriving at their usual spot, which a garden. He spotted Taylor waiting there already. "I'm here!" Said Kaden as he rushed over. "Oh hello." Said Taylor, waving at Kaden. The two chatted for quiet a while, Kaden almost forgetting he was going to confess today. Luckily it seems that he didn't, deciding to confess at the end of the garden Kaden could only cross his fingers it went well. Chatting along the way made time pass by faster, before they knew it they had reached the end. Taylor about to go and walk back was stopped by an unexpected grip. It seems that Kaden had something to say to him.
"Taylor, I-i'm not exactly sure how to say this." He said, clenching his hands he went for it. "I- I really like you and i'd like to date!" Kaden said, his nerves creeping all over him. He closed his eyes afraid to look Taylor in the eyes. Silence had fell upon them, until Taylor spoke up. "I..well I like you too and i'd be happy to accept!" Taylor said, as he brought Kadens face closer to his. Their lips touching together they soon were brought into a kiss, a moment later it was over. Kaden stood there stunned he wasn't sure what had just happened, multiple emotions rushed over him. "You like me too...?" Asked Kaden, unsure if he heard it correctly. "Yeah silly, I just said I did." Said Taylor, a small chuckle escaping his lips. Hearing this once again a feeling of joy rushed through Kaden, this meant they were a couple now. Feeling happy they both spent the rest of their day together. Though this fixes one thing, telling their parents would be another ordeal. Seems we'll have to leave it for next time.
