Kalel's POV

I walked downstairs to see Reagan had slashed Anthony across his face, splitting his nose, with just her car key! I froze, Reagan stared at me with a crazy look in her eye. She twitched. I slowly backed away,

"Just calm down Reagan. I won't say anything if you don't hurt me...o-okay?" fear clearly shining through my words. Reagan didn't say a word. She had the creepiest smile on her face, and was heavily breathing, still holding out the blood riddended car key over Anthony. Anthony was bleeding horrendously on the floor. Reagan inched towards me, I raised my hands up and then dashed for my apartment. She chased after me, but stopped to go back to her apartment. I didn't hesitate to slam the door shut behind me and call 911. As the phone rang my feet began to feel hot. I looked at the floor and fire was seeping through the crack of the door! Reagan must have grabbed a candle from her apartment and laid it in front of my door! I panicked and tears flooded my eyes. I grabbed poor Buki and whispered prayers as the phone rang,

"911 what's your emergency?"

"My name is Kalel Cullen and a crazy girl named Reagan has slashed my boyfriends face and set my apartment on fire," I quickly ran my words together. I told them the address. This was a long agonizing wait. The fire was spreading fast. I rushed to open the window to let the smoke out. My cheeks were as wet as a swamp. My rug began to burst into flames. I grabbed a bucket and filled it with water, dumping it onto the hellish flames. Not much help. For a second I considered jumping out of the window, or dashing through the flames out of my apartment. The fire grew bigger, my decision had to be made quickly or I'd be fried. I grabbed Buki and dashed out the door, my legs and feet being roasted and burnt to a crisp. It hurt so bad I began to scream. I got out to the hall. It looked like Satan had been here. I screamed and croaked as I made my way down to Anthony. I saw the candle had rolled down the stairs. The flames were crawling towards Anthony as I grabbed him by the arm and pulled him down to the lobby. He was so heavy. I pulled a muscle and had to put his arm around me so he could walk with me. The problem was he was nearly unconcious. He could barely take a step. Buki screeched. Poor thing. She was sitting on my shoulder crying.

I made it to the lobby. Firefighters bursted inside. Cops waited outside. When I reached the entrance I wanted to cry. I put down Anthony as I limped into the fresh air. I hugged Buki tight, and dome people escorted us to an ambulance. My feet were red and bloody. All my skin on my feet had burned off.
