Ian's POV
The door bell rang. I walked over to the door and took a look through the peephole. KALEL?! I stormed through the hallway and into our room.
"Mel?! Kalel's here! Do you know anything about this?"I whisper screamed.
"...well you know how Kalel texted you the other day? She also texted me, but like an hour before she texted you. I told her Anthony was here. I tried to tell her that she couldn't come over, but then I gave in and said she could come over in a couple days." Melanie frowned.
"Why didn't you tell me?"
"I knew you would tell Anthony and try to leave somewhere, so I didn't say anything. Plus Kalel and Anthony need to talk!"
"He doesn't want to talk!" I retorted.
"He doesn't know what he wants!" Mel snapped. I heard another knock on the door. I walked down the hallway again and opened the door.
"Hey Ian, is Anthony here?" Kalel smiled.
"Yeah but, he doesn't want to talk! Okay?" I yelled in a hushed tone. Her smile began to fade.
"Look, I know he doesn't want to talk, but trust me. He'll feel better afterwards. And I know he hates me, I've made a lot of mistakes. I just want to start over with him. Now, will you please let me in?" I sighed in frustration and let her in.
"He's in his bedroom." I closed the door, sat on the couch and waited.
Anthony's POV
I heard Ian and Mel talking, something about kale? Wait, no, why would they talk about kale? They're talking about Kalel. Then I heard a knock on the door. And then a girl's voice. Kalel was hear. Crap. I heard footsteps and Kalel walked into my room. I stood up and grabbed my bag with my stuff in it.
"Hi Anthony, um, can we-" she started.
"No." I cut her off and left the room. Ian was sitting on the couch in the living room. I flipped him off and left the house. Kalel was following after me.
"Anthony please, wait, stop!" She grabbed my arm before I got into my car. I turned around, but didn't look at her. She grabbed my chin and made me face her.
"Anthony, I just..."
"Just what? Take advantage of me, use my money to buy dumb crap? Buy you another cat? Take you on ANOTHER vacation?! WHAT DO YOU WANT?!" I screamed.
"I just want to start over." She pulled me in for a kiss, I kissed back before I realized what I was doing. I pushed away and she fell over onto the grass. I guess I pushed her too hard. I looked up and saw Melanie was watching the whole thing. She rushed over to Kalel's side. Kalel looked up at me with tears in her eyes. Melanie just looked at me in disgust.
"Leave. NOW." Melanie grit her teeth. I hopped into my car and drove away fast. I decided to just go home.
