the only warning is that this chapter sucks but it had to be written for the plot to continue after. I planned all the plot lines and how they'll combine in the end and I gotta say, I'm so proud of it that I might change the book a bit when I finish to publish it as a real teen book and not just fanfic. The more time she spent on that mission, the more certain she became that it was all Shigaraki's way to torment her. Ever since the coffee shop disaster, she took a break. Her cover wasn't blown thanks to the miracle called Bakugou. However, seeing how easy it was for her to slip kept her from pushing too hard.

If Shigaraki wants intel let him go look for it himself.

However, as time passed, she realized it wasn't that easy. Although Dabi wasn't sent on any dangerous missions yet Shigaraki started assigning him longer missions the more he waited for updates from the mission. She was left alone at home most of the day, and at night felt the exhausted Dabi crawl into bed to cuddle her and whisper a thousand apologies into her ear as he caressed her skin and kissed the back of her shoulder. Of course, even a second with Dabi was worth all the wait, but she realized soon enough that it's a warning sign from Shigaraki to her.

She knew she had to continue the mission sooner rather than later, so she did make sure to answer the flirtatious texts the blond sent her every now and then, to not burn this bridge completely. However, meeting with him was the thing she dreaded most. She didn't even realize he was Bakugou's friend until it was too late. Luckily, he didn't blow her cover. But nothing guarantees someone else won't. Kai is in class 1B. There's a high possibility that they know each other, and if he was in Bakugou's place, she would have been locked up by now. He knows she's a villain, knows in what area she stays, and most of all, knows her real identity. She could already see in her mind the heroes barging into her old apartment, terrorizing the calm place, leaving everything ruined beyond repair after them. She could see them taking her family pictures, the remaining relic of her family, as evidence. She could see them plastering her face all over the news and going on a witch hunt for the girl that tried to infiltrate the UA. If she was any more of a villain, she would have killed Kai to prevent the trouble. But she wasn't. Luckily so.

UNKNOWN NUMBER: Funny you gave him your number but not to me.

YOU: Bakugou?

UNKNOWN NUMBER: Who else will text you? idiot

YOU: Why would you text me? Idiot

BAKUGOU: We never finished our conversation, and you're a hard person to find

YOU: It's because I don't want to be found

BAKUGOU: Sucks to be you, edge lord. When are you free?

YOU: Are you crazy?

BAKUGOU: I could ask you the same thing. Since you're replying quickly, I'll assume you're alone today. I finish class in two hours, meet me then.

YOU: Why are you ordering me around again?

BAKUGOU: Because SOMEONE has a mission she needs to continue. But if you prefer to kiss the intel out of Dunce face instead of talking to me you go ahead.

YOU: What's in it for you?

BAKUGOU: Meet me and see for yourself.
