Frozen Flame(Dabi x Reader)

Hello everyone! I am back with another chapter finally! this one is wayyyyyyy off the canon plot, I basically made the whole thing up since we don't get to see much Dabi in the anime and I wanted to give him some extra depth. anyways! if something doesn't add up with the canon plot, that's why. but I hope you enjoy! and please read the ending notes as well since I wrote there something important to me~

The past few days passed by spending your time with Dabi and waiting for contact from the league of villains. Obviously both of you indulged yourself in the momentary freedom you two had and you caught yourself once or twice wondering how nice it could have been if the two of you could just escape the shackles the league had put on you and leave your life peacefully somewhere else.

"daydreaming again?" Dabi asked gently and smiled tenderly towards you, leaning and placing a fluttering kiss on your forehead before handing you your coffee and sitting next to you.

"not really, just enjoying the peace and quiet" you admitted with a calm smile.

"well, you'll have the next two weeks or so to enjoy it even more" he trailed his fingers through your flowing hair.

"they reached out to you?" you asked, knowing that this was most certainly an imply.

"yes, they said its better to stay scattered since the heroes are still on the look for the league. Once they'll chill out, we will meet up and think about what's next, maybe find a new hideout since ours got destroyed. Either way I'm glad you're out of their sight for now" he smiled and took a sip out of your mug of coffee with a satisfied smirk.

"thought you liked that I'm with the league?" you raised a brow at him

"hell no. I like it when you're next to me but if I had any say in this, I would have kept you as farther away from them as possible. Like...my own private princess waiting for me at her tower" he said and trailed kisses from the back of your ear down your neck teasingly.

"how about you stop being an adventurer and be the prince that stays with me in that tower?" you give him a playful look, making him understand that this was only half serious since you knew Dabi wasn't the type of guy to just sit at home.

"would love to, but then who will help the kingdom? This prince has a few things to take care of before he's able to" he said distantly and that made you raised a brow.

"you're planning something aren't you"

He sighed and looked you in the eyes while tracing his thumb over your jaw. "there are people out there that need help (Y/N), against the heroes themselves. I can't look away; you know I can't"

"then take me with you" you frowned and looked at him seriously.

"what?"

"the league is on hold for now which means you're planning on doing this alone. And I am not going to let you. Whatever you're planning, another fighter and an extra pair of hands can always help"

He sighed heavily and got up from the sofa "(Y/N),no. it's dangerous and the last thing I want is for you to get hurt" he said without looking at you and started walking to the kitchen but you stood up and followed right after.

"then it's dangerous for you too! You can't go there alone!"

"(Y/N). I said no." he turned and looked you down sternly.

"I don't care! if you don't take me willingly with you then I'll follow you nevertheless and probably WILL get hurt." You said and crossed your arms and Dabi that was already done with this conversation and looked up in defeat.
