"Yes I'm ok just...ill that's all" you shrugged her off you knew you should tell her the truth but how could you break it to the love of your life that you were dying you couldn't you would face it when it came to it easy
"Well you should stay here no missions for you anyway"
"I don't go on missions nat plus I'm tired I don't want to go anywhere will you put the tv on" she sat on the edge of the bed and grabbed the remote
"Gilmore girls?" You nodded and started to lay back further on your bed
"Nat If anything happened to me you need to promise that you'll look after Peter no matter what" she looked back at you from the screen
"Of course flower but nothings going to happen it's just a little cold" if only she knew but you couldn't tell her she would get worried
"Yeah... of course" after a while if watching lorelai and Luke fall in love you fell asleep thinking over what was going on
You sat up with a sickness in your stomach you turned to your left to the alarm clock it was 03:30 in the morning then to your right to see Nat sleeping peacefully you were about to kiss her on the head when you ran out of bed to the toilet to be sick
After you'd emptied your stomach for the 2nd time in the last 24hours you sat on the floor with sweat dripping down your head you lay on the floor feeling more tired than before it turns out you slept there until 11am the next day when Wanda came borrow a towel she shook you awake and started whispering to you
"Y/n I'm gonna take you to Bruce your burning up and your really red" she picked you up in her arms and carried you to medical you barely had your eyes open and you weren't really listenening to what they were saying but after a minute everything went black you opened your eyes to see you stood in front of a pond all around you were trees and water but it was beautiful and serine everything around you just seemed calm
"Where am I?" You asked looking around eventually sitting down on a rock with your feet dangling into the water it was soothing since you didn't have any shoes on but you were scared out of your dreams by a voice from behind you
"You are in a place of the middle not above or below right or left just here it has no name simply to be known as-"you cut the man off looking around for the voice
"The middle I know but are we on earth?"he chuckled
"Who knows maybe maybe not it's not my secret to tell" he said you still couldn't put your finger on where the voice was coming from you head was spinning in all directions "child I'm not something you can see but to be listened to"
"Oh ok well why am I here in the middle?" You asked
"I'm here to speak to you about the prophecy" The voice now seemed to be right next to you
"I know I'm...dying it's ok I've dealt with it" you said lying
"No child you haven't and that's ok I can see you are destined for great things and if you die the world may come to an end one day"
"Well the worlds gonna die one day anyway that's centuries away" you say brushing him off
"It may not be as far as you think maybe your ok with you dying but what about your loved ones like Natasha Romanoff, Peter Parker, Loki Odinson or your mother frigga the goddess of marriage, clairvoyant and prophecy none of those people have dealt with it so I must tell you there is another way" he said taking his sweet time
"Another way of what?"
"To live my dear there may be a solution but you'll have to find the witch that cast this curse on you and ask for the antidote"
"There's an antidote?" You asked how could be that dr not tell you maybe he didn't know but that wasn't believable
"Ok child I'm sending you back to your reality now so go find your cure"
"So I'm in a different reality then?"
"Yes but goodbye"'you wave and all of a sudden sit up in a hospital bed to see Nat sat at the side of your bed
"Flower thank god your ok I was so worried"
"Yeah thanks I have to go to Asgard" you say getting out of your bed quickly
"What...ok I'll pack my bag"she said also standing up
"No I'm Nat your staying here this time" she turned to you
"What why?"she asked
"Because I need to do something important ok I'm sorry but I have to go" you ran outside and looked up to the sky "come on hiemdall I kinda need you right now come and get me" and in less than 5 seconds you were being sucked into the sky and I front of hiemdall "wow it has been a hot minute hiemy I missed you"
"Yes yes princess y/n I missed you to now go and find your mother she's waiting for you in the tea room" you nod and run away all this running was going to catch up with you soon it always does
"Mother mother where are you" finally you saw the tea room and ran over to the door she was sat there sipping tea you sat down and all of a sudden you were out of breath "where" big breath "is the" another big breath "antidote to my curse" you had started to get your breath back now
"Y/n dear the witch you preformed your curse was called drezelda she's not well known and likes to as you would say lay low" you nod slowly
"Ok but where is she?"
"She's in the woods in a cabin she's often surrounded by spells so be careful"
"Ok where is this forest?" She stands up abruptly
"Hiemdall will show you and you will go and talk to her we will stay and watch" You went to hiemdall and asked where she was
She was deep in the forest it was in a part of earth that you couldn't see on a map so you obviously couldn't say the name
"Ok I'm off hiemdall send me away I'll be fine"
