3RD PERSON POV:
you were sat down not saying a word until tony stood back up "ok so today i have heard there's gonna be a fight soon and we have to be ready for it i'm not sure when so we'll all have to be on high alert and because of that me and bruce have decided most people will be moving back into the compound, with some exceptions" he not so secretly looked to Steve and Bucky
"wait what tony we have lives and things to do?" nat asked
"well one of your 'things' to do is be an avenger and i think that comes before your grocery shopping?" nat huffed then sat back down
you slowly went towards peter "so are you ok to stay here?" you asked he turned to you
"yeah of course i love it here" you stood up
"me and peter are ok to stay here" you looked to Wanda and she nodded in return "and so is Wanda so i think this was a great meeting anyways pete still has school until this fight so he'll be going to bed" you helped him up then basically pushed him out the door
"but it's only half 8?" he whined
"and you have algebra homework goodnight pete" you waved him of
"goodnight mum доброй ночи мама" he sulkily walked upstairs
"y/n he's an avenger he can be at the meetings" Steve said with his arms crossed
"i'm already letting him join the fight i don't think he needs to here all the gory details, do you cap?"
"well y/n i think peters old enough, he plays those video games, he goes out on patrol every night and you're more than happy for him to do that?" nat says standing up
"well those games have fake violence and that patrol is where he gets churros from old women it's a bit different, anyways bruce what do you know about this thanos guy?"
after what felt like forever the meeting was finally done you walked out with Wanda and tony you said goodnight to them both and walked to your old room
when you walked in you didn't expect to see nat sat on your bed "y/n i think we should talk" you sat down next to her on the bed
"yeah you go first" she nodded
"why don't we love each other anymore at first we were so happy for the future and now we're engaged and i feel like your my roommate who shares my bed" you smirked after all that's happened she could still make you laugh "your turn" she said sheepishly
"i know nat i don't know what happened it's just a few months ago i got a photo sent to me in the mail saying something about a widow killing my parents" she looked shocked since you hadn't told her any of this before
you couldn't even look her in the eye as you were saying it
"and i guess i kind of resented you for that because i know you were a widow for a long time but then i just felt so bad because i was a widow and who am i to judge but by then you had picked up on how i was feeling" you looked at her for the first time in forever
"i didn't know that y/n why didn't you tell me?" nat asked holding your hand
"i was scared to loose you"
"but y/n you not saying anything did make you loose me i thought you were with someone else" that grabbed your attention
"NO NAT NE-ver i would never you and peter are the best family in the world but don't tell Loki i would never choose anyone or anything over you"
"really?" she asked looking into your eyes
"i've never been more honest" you grabbed her face "can i kiss you?" she nodded smiling
it felt right to be kissing her again like all the problems you had less than 2 hours ago are
gone
"i will cut off Wanda if that's what you want i'm not jeopardising us again and when this is all over i can't wait to show you the plans for our wedding i've been keeping it pretty hush hush but i think it's time i tell you"
"and i'll cut off steve it's us and i can't wait to see what you planned" she kissed you this time "flower can we please go to sleep?"
"i've missed you" you lay down in her arms
i know it's a short one but i feel like these characters should have their own chapter
to rekindle their relationship because i have HATED having to write that they weren't getting along i mean it SUCKED and i just don't think that suits this story
