you, Nat and peter had been living together for 2 years now and you were in a certain type of routine
you wake up
have breakfast together
take peter to school
come back
plan your wedding
talk to tony
watch nat 'go shopping'
go get coffee
walk mss Patinskis' cats
have a cup of tea with mss Patinski
call Wanda
go see Loki in his new cell
wait for nat to come back
go get peter
this was a day for you it felt normal and safe and you didn't want anything to change
but when you were about to start planning your wedding you hear a knock on the door
you go over to answer the door and you see tony stood there looking nervous
"hey tony i was gonna call you in an hour what are you doing here" you said opening the door wider for him to come in
"we need to talk where's nat?" he came in and sat in the sofa
"i know that's why i was gonna call you"
"where's nat y/n?!" he asked shouting now
"she's upstairs i'll go get her" you hurried upstairs and bring her down
"hey tony what are you doing here?"
"there's going to be a fight and we need your help"
"what?" you said looking to nat
"with who?"
"a man called thanos we need your help to take him down"
"thanos? that doesn't sound familiar who is he?" nat asked sitting more comfortably
"well his mission is to kill half of the universe and that's all we really know"
"so you need us to help fight him?" nat asked
you couldn't help but think you weren't up to the task someone who was trying to kill half the planet wants to fight you someone who can't even control their powers fully
"tony we don't do that anymore" nat said leaning back in her chair
"i know but the world needs the avengers and you two just so happen to be some of them" you looked to nat who just sighed "speaking of avengers i know you've been in contact with Steve all this time i need you to tell him to come back"
"i don't see Steve?" nat said looking to you but turned back to tony as he began speaking
"you do and it's ok y/n already knows so I'm not outing you don't worry" she looked to you looking hurt
"you knew and didn't try to stop me?"
"he's been in your life for years i couldn't take that away even if he tried to kill me and my family" i shrugged laughing
"y/n he's not normally like that"
"nat you act like i don't know him" you said crossing your legs to look at her
