I have to be honest, Jupiter is undoubtedly one of my favourite planets. I have always been curious to know everything about this charming and elegant gas giant. There is no solid surface, so I guess I'll be visiting the moons instead. There are approximately 79 moons, 53 named and 26 waiting approval, but 4 are the most significant and known ones; Europa, Io, Ganymede and Callisto.

This planet has always amazed me. Its elegance, lively colors and importance for life on Earth make it as interesting as no other planet. Its gravitational field is so strong that meteors and other objects get pulled and destroyed by it, thus making us avoid most of the dangers of outer space. Without Jupiter, I surely wouldn't be writing this diary right now.

I must say that I'm very surprised by the sounds I'm hearing; since the winds here are so strong, I expected it to be so loud that I could barely keep my thoughts together, but they're so calming and harmonizing that it almost feels unreal. It sounds like a musician playing the sweetest and most soothing song to ever be composed. It's something so otherworldly and magnificent that realistically speaking no words can describe its greatness. But even with all of that, there's still this eerie feeling that accompanies everything, mixed with restlessness and concern. It sounds so full yet so empty, so calming yet so deafening.

Jupiter also reminds me of mermaids; they look appealing, attractive and they sing songs to make you fall into their traps. Its atmospheric pressure, strong gravity and harsh winds would kill you in an instant, while attracting you with the most delightful melody you'll ever hear.

In the back, if you look closely, you can also see Io.

The colors are so perfectly arranged that it reminds me of a painting, but such perfection can't be achieved by anybody on Earth, not even by the greatest artists of all times like Van Gogh or Claude Monet. It's such a shame that one of Jupiter's peculiarities is disappearing with time; its great red spot, which would be a raging storm that has been raging for well over 400 years, is slowly getting smaller and smaller. I don't know how to feel about it, but I'm sure that it's one of the mostly known facts about this planet, and it's very disappointing to see it fade away.

I wish I was able to translate its beauty with words, but I'm sure I won't do a good job. But I'll try anyways.

I discovered that the "special equipment" that was given to me was a suit with wings. They're so strong that they can hold all of Jupiter's problems, like the strong winds and gravity, and let me fly free in its decorous atmosphere. I'm as excited as a kid who's about to open their Christmas' gifts.

Firstly, I went to Ganymede and took this picture of Jupiter, since I didn't like the first one I took. This moon, with Europa and other 2 on Saturn, have a big possibility at hospitating life. Ganymede under its icy surface hides an enormous saltwater ocean, which implies that life could theoretically be possible. There are also auroras, which I think make this moon very distinctive. It felt weird to walk here knowing I could be so near alien life, but there is no way really for me to discover it. Enjoy the picture.

We are part of something so vast and amazing that we don't even realize it. Space is truly fascinating, isn't it? I ponder about it every time, especially now, by exploring these worlds that for centuries have remained mysteries, while scientists have died without having the knowledge they were hoping for. Scientists that have died in the ignorance of a flat Earth, or in the ignorance of it being at the center of the universe. It's truly depressing if you empathize with them. I'll make sure that their efforts will be repaid with this mission. If heaven exists, I hope they will watch me right now, and be proud of humans' progress and achievements.

I also took a quick trip on Callisto and took this other photo. I'm taking so many of them because, as I stated earlier, I can't really describe with words how fascinating and elegant this planet looks, and although not even pictures translate it that well, it's surely better than my weak human attempt.

It's time I attach my wings and fly through the atmosphere and gasses, wish me good luck. Well, actually, you can't, so I'll wish it myself. Good luck, Vincent.

I finally returned, I couldn't bring my diary since I would have surely lost it, but I must say it was the best hour of my entire life. I flew through it like an airplane freely flies from a country to another, but I was going even faster. The mesmerizing harmony that played in the background with the winds and everything, helped adding that touch of perfectness unreachable anywhere on Earth. I shut my eyes for a minute or so and I thought for a second I was in heaven; the only things missing were a choir of angels and God welcoming me. I could barely feel myself in my body, while the fast winds and rotation pushed me to extremely high speeds. I wish this moment would have never ended, I finally reached peak happiness and satisfaction for that hour or so. It felt as if I was liberating myself from all the guilt and sadness, while Jupiter silently whispered me a lullaby to put me to sleep, while protecting me from the dangers of the world just like a parent should.

I don't know how many times I rotated around this planet, but I'm sure it was more than 2 or 3. Considering how massive it is, it was actually pretty impressive. I also went exploring the other 2 moons, Europa and Io, and I must say that I didn't look at them for long; all I cared about was to look at Jupiter from a distance, while contemplating its perfection.

Unluckily, it's time to go to my next destination. I always put Saturn as my favourite planet, even above Jupiter, but now that I've seen its immaculateness, I really don't know if Saturn will be able to beat it.
