The Luna ceremony was something beyond my imagination. Lanterns everywhere. The garden looks magical just like a scene out of a movie. Finger foods and drinks on tables. Everything looks magical. The pack has taste, that's for sure. I can say they wanted the best for their alpha because I am sure as hell they didn't do a majestic design for me. The daughter of a hated alpha. One that had ruined families.

I am wearing a white dress with my hair all around me. We wolves usually like to look wild so I thought this look will do for today. I hope that the pack will like me. Maybe one day they would separate me from my father. For now they will see him in me. Kai looks great, like usual. Without any effort. I hope that I am the only one who finds him attractive because of the mate bond.

We stood side by side by an old oak tree. When the speech about lunas role by an elder member was done, was my turn. After taking my blood, I had to say some words. Words that have been said by Lunas in generations. Words about how much I care about the pack and will sacrifice myself for it if I have to. Words about me knowing my position and responsibilities.

No one dared to say a word against me, I mean who can blame them? I am a gifted Luna. They can't fight me that easily. I am sure they are all waiting to see what happens in the future and why am I their Luna.
No jokes I am waiting as well.

A party was thrown for me. Well I am the excuse for them to party. I wanted to tell them to party more. Party for weeks and years under my name, so maybe they would hate me less for who I am.

I met and greeted many pack members. Some were genuine and some were forced to greet me. It's good to know a few names so I could yell then when my father is dragging me away. Hopefully that day never arrives. The pack members do adore their alpha. I can say he is kind to them. He is not ruthless like my father.

"How do you like the ceremony?" Dillon asks. The beta. He is approachable and kind compare to others

"Good. How did you like it? As the audience." I say posing like a showman.

"Umm. It was good?" He says looking lost. Ok maybe that wasn't a good question. Now he thinks I was acting when I said that I am going to be a good Luna. Awesome. Just what I needed. Ok maybe I can turn the tables.

"Kai is a very talented showman and actor." I say with a sigh. Now he looks more confused. Maybe I should stop joking or maybe I should communicate later.

"We appreciate your presence as the beta."  I say with an awkward smile.

"Thanks I guess?" He says.

"I mean sure I haven't seen you at work but if you weren't good Kai would choose someone else." I say.
Ok maybe it's enough. Now I am sure when my father's dragging me back to his castle Dillon will cheer him if not handing me to him.

"You look adorable." I add. He is frowning. Maybe communicating through mind link. Cussing at Kai for not rejecting me. Should I pet him?

"Luna are you ok?" He asks. I hate it when people ask me this question. It's like they are telling me that I am crazy and abnormal but in a polite way. Just stay quiet if you are not gonna accompany me in my crazy road.

"This was all a test. I was just checking your reactions." I say with a serious tone.

"You need more practice. You failed." I say leaving him there. He looks so confused. I am confused as well.

Kai is talking to some elders. He has serious look. Ok not him. I change my direction toward a swing.
I seat and start swinging. There is also a little boy on the swing next to mine.

"What's your name?" He asks.

"Aranya. But I think Luna is easier for you." I say. I mean how old is he? 5? How do I except him to know pronounce my name well when I couldn't do it when I was a child.

"You are pretty." He says. I am gonna cry.

"Aww. Thank you. What's your name?" I ask. I won't let go of my first friend.

"Christopher." He replies.

"Do you own a yellow bear named Pooh by any chance?" I ask. If not I am buying him one as soon as possible.

"No." He replies.

"How old are you?" I ask.

"6." He replies. Ok maybe he can pronounce my name.

"You enjoy being alone as well?" I ask.

"Yes. I feel like others can't understand me." He says. Yup he can pronounce it.

"Same." I reply with a sigh.

"But now I am your new best friend and I am sure we can understand each other." I add. Understanding someone is hard but I feel like those who haven't been understood can feel each other better.

"Aranya." Kai calls me.

"Here." I say getting up.

"It was nice meeting you Christopher. Take care." I say. He shakes his hand with a smile.

"We have to go to the witch. The one that is gonna help us with your remember?" Kai asks. I nod.

"Let's pack and leave we are not sure how long is going to get." He adds.

"Ok. I want you to know, I am sorry about everything." I say.

"It's not your fault." He says avoiding eye contact. It's like he is forcing himself to say it.

The Luna and alpha leaving the pack as soon as the Luna ceremony is over doesn't seem appealing.
Ok it's good for now.

After getting ready, he led me to his car.
