Chapter 17: Goblin

"What?" I ask.

"Your rainbow and sunshine life. You guys need to open up. You feel like there is wall between you two yet you don't tell him. Your past is bothering you, you keep quiet. Your..." He was saying but I cut him off.

"Ok got it." I say rolling my eyes.

"Seriously. You have to do it. He is not a mind reader." He says.

"I will ok? I just need time. What if he doesn't want me? He doesn't seem excited about mating with me." I say.

"I can sense it as well. Something is really stopping him. I mean he is stopping himself but anyway you won't figure why till you speak with him about it." He says.

"But I can assure you he wants you." He adds. I roll my eyes.

"Seriously. He is having inner battles but he wants you." He says. I sigh.

"I am not sure it's just I feel that I wasn't bubbly he wouldn't have said a word to me. Is like I am forcing all the words out of him." I whisper.

"Now you are being drama queen." Alvin rolls his eyes.

"Just talk to him. Ok?" He asks. Before I could answer Kai comes.

"Did you order?" He asks.

"No we were waiting for you." Alvin says. More like we were talking about you so we didn't have time to order.

"Is everything alright?" I ask. He nods.

"See." I mouth to Alvin. He just shrugs.

"He is a little grumpy. That's all." He mouths back.

"If you two are done being childish I would like to order." Kai says.

"Told you. Grumpy." Alvin mouths.

After eating our food we go back to our car. Going toward the Goblins. I don't know where they exactly are but Kai knows and that's enough.

Goblin the lonely and great god here I come.

I play a music singing along with it. Alvin joins me but after five minutes Kai turns the music off.

I pout looking back at Alvin.

"Grumpy." Alvin assures me.

"At this point he is rude." I mouth back.

I turn the music on again. Singing with Alvin. But again after a few minutes Kai turned it off.

"What the fuck man." Alvin mumbles.

"Why?" I ask.

"You guys are giving me a headache." He says and shrugs.

"You are just mean." I pout looking out of the window.

"I feel like I am driving two school kids to their homes." He says.

"We aren't childish." I say defensively.

"You are." He says.

"What's wrong with being childish?" Alvin asks.

"Oh good point." I say with a proud smile.

"It's annoying." Kai said as I was about to high-five Alvin. I stopped midway turning away and stomping my foot.

"We could've been The Three Tenors but you were way too grumpy and mean." I mumble.

"It doesn't matter now we are Sonny & Cher." Alvin says.

"The only duo you two can make is pat and mat." Kai says.

I look back at Alvin with a proud smile.

"This is the part you get angry." He mouths.

"No this is the part that we high five." I mouth. He shakes his head. But high fives me.

"I will sleep peacefully now that your thoughts aren't bothering me. Wake me up when we arrive." He says leaning back and closing his eyes.

I don't know how many hours has passed but I open my eyes to Kai nudging my shoulder. I don't even know where we are and honestly I don't care.

"We are here." He says.

"If you weren't so mean I wouldn't have slept." I whisper with a pout. He kisses my cheek.

"Sorry. Let's go." He says. Alvin is outside on his phone.

I get out and after he ended his phone call we made our way toward a jungle. I love jungles. I really do.

Are we going to his cottage or something? Like is his house in the middle of the jungle?

We stand somewhere in the middle. I look around but can't spot a cottage.

"So where are these Goblins so I can get this over with. You know seducing and all." I say with a wink and wiggling my body. Alvin chuckles.

"So you want to seduce a Goblin?" Alvin asks. I nod.

"Yeah?" Kai asks. What is it with this two and my plans with goblins?

"Yeah. Perhaps 'yeah' will be our 'always'?" I ask Kai. He just stares at me.

"Don't ruin the moment. Say yeah." I mouth Kai.

"Yeah." He says.

"You are really selfless for seducing a Goblin." Alvin says after a few seconds.

"Selfless? Are you racist? Are you saying this because they are Korean?" I ask with disbelief.

"Fuck you don't know shit about them." Alvin says.

"I do I watched the whole drama." I say. Even though it was a long time ago.

"They really aren't Korean." Alvin mumbles.

I hear a footstep and saw a hideous creature. Oh my moon goddess. What the fuck is that? Did that thing killed our Goblin? I gulp. I think they gonna accompany my father in my nightmares.

Is it inappropriate to ask Kai to check if I have peed in my pants or not.

The creature is green. That's green right? If you put a short Shrek into a blender maybe that would be the result. What are those stone thing like on their face? What will happen if I pass out on this mission or adventure or whatever this is?

I think I offended Shrek. I mean it has wrinkled skin, ugly nails, huge and long nose and ears, fangs and stone pimples.

"What's that? Where is the Goblin?" I ask horrified. Alvin chuckles but Kai puts a hand on my shoulder.

"That's the Goblin you wanted to seduce." Kai says with a smirk. I gasp putting my hand on my heart.

What the fuck? What have I gotten myself into?
