I sigh and turn my head towards my white ceiling . Well that's a lie.

Dokja POV:

I eye the café options that I have around me. I haven't been in that café since it started. How long has it been...

A year?! Oh my I'm getting old.

I head towards the café and reassure myself. I'm kind of glad that it's been a while since it opened it's not that full with customers.

I walk over to the counter and there's a sweet lady taking my order.

"Heyyyy, what can I get for ya?"

"I'll take a cappuchino, please"

"Aight... Anything else?"

"No thank you"

"Aight. That will be 4€"

I nod and start reaching to my bag. "I'll pay for it." I hear someone from behind me say.

I turn around and see Jonghyuk... Wait JONGHYUK?!

Why did he have to appear right now?
What will he think after I said no that time? Hell, what was I thinking? Maybe he's mad at me. I hope he doesn't hit me-

I get brought back to reality when the cashier says "Aand the total will be 8 euros and 50 sents"

I turn to look at Jonghyuk and try to change his mind "Ah it's fine. Really, you don't have to-"

But he had already flipped out his card and payed for our drinks.
I sigh in defeat and start looking for a table.

Clearly this café is more popular than what I originally thought.

There's only two tables left. One next to the window and another at the back of the store.
"Hey do you want to sit there?" I ask while pointing at the window.

If I've learned anything about being alone with an alpha it's that you should try to be at a very popular, public place.
If something really bad happens you can scream for help... Expect that time.

He nods and we sit down.

I suddenly remember what happened a week ago and I get nervous again.

There's a silence.

"S-so how have you been?" I ask from him while avoiding eyecontact.

He leans towards me "Pretty good, going to work, watching a movie on Saturday... How about you?"

"Good... I guess. Uhm... About that Saturday, I'm so-"

He chuckles and cuts me off "That was a joke, I understand that you have a schedule that you have to work with. I didn't watch the movie anyway" he says seriously.

I place my cappuchino down. "Excuse me, but what?! Are you trying to tell me that you didn't go watch the movie?"

"Nope"

"Then what did you do?"

"I gave the tickets to these two teens who were talking about the movie when I walked by", he says and shrugs his shoulders.

Aww that's kinda cute... I can't help, but feel a sting of guilt, for not going out with him. For no reason. Maybe one time won't hurt-

No. I don't want history repeat itself.

"Aah... Well that's nice"

-silence-

"So are you done with your drink?" I ask him.

He nods and we leave the café.
