-Draco-

"I know her, Blaise. I swear, I do." I paced the Slytherin common room practically scouring my brain, wishing our conversation could've lasted longer. "I just get this sense of deja vu every time I think of her."

"Granted it's only been about 36 hours since..."

I ignored Blaise's comment as I continued to pace back and forth. When I couldn't think of anything else, I groaned and fell onto the couch right in front of Theo who had his legs propped up on the table while he absentmindedly nibbled on something he'd gotten from Hogsmeade.

"Have you written to her?"

"She wanted to visit Hogwarts but I don't think I've ever held a decent conversation with the Headmaster ever before in my entire life even though I told her I could talk to him and get her in."

They both stared at me with blank expressions.

"What?"

Blaise threw his hands up. "Well, now's your chance! Don't be such a coward."

I shot him a withering look. I hated that word. There was something about it that simply lit a match inside of me.

The common room door opened as Pansy entered with an exhausted expression. She threw herself down on the couch next to Theo who giddily offered her some of his sweets. She took one and began sucking while curiously gazing up at me.

"What's got you all worked up?"

Theo couldn't keep his stupid mouth shut. "The girl from the Three Broomsticks!"

"Remind me to never tell you anything," I muttered to Theo who deflated with a frown and went back to his candy.

"Oh?" Pansy sat up on the edge of her seat. "What about her?"

There was no way I was talking to Pansy of all people about this. So I swerved for the exit. "I'm heading for the Owlery."

"To write a love letter?" called out Blaise.

"Piss off!" I yelled back which earned me laughter from both boys. There wasn't a sound from Pansy.

.........

Dear Terra,

No.

Hello. It's me, Draco. Remember? The sad birthday boy from the Three Broomsticks?

God, no.

Terra,

Yes. There we go, that's fine.

I'm not sure I can get you into the castle since classes are still in session. Perhaps you can visit once the Summer holidays begin?

Though, I'd still like to see you again. Sooner, that is.

Malfoy

Did that sound too desperate? I don't know.

I folded it up way too quickly before I could tear it apart and handed it to the nearest owl who hooted once and flew off into the sunset.

She didn't write back for three excruciating days. There wasn't much in the letter except asking where to meet. There were no more Hogsmeade trips left so I took the only option I had left to think of.
