"suck on that, hyerin."
donghyuck won and he was clearly enjoying his victory since he hadn't stopped smiling since the round finished two minutes ago.
she went up to the counter and asked for donghyuck's favourite shake. or at least the one she thought it was from years ago back when they were–
"here's your milkshake." she shoved it into his chest and gave him a sarcastic smile.
hyerin was a little bit bitter about losing a game of bowling to donghyuck when she used to be the better one between them.
he took it from her with a big smile and sucked on the straw. "thank you."
she walked back to her friends and grabbed her stuff to leave since they'd finished their rounds.
they met in the parking lot a little later because donghyuck's group had only paid for two rounds so she saw them leaving and him still carrying around the half-drunken milkshake.
"you're so bad at this!" hyerin giggled to herself after donghyuck came back with a frown on his face because his ball had missed all the pins.
"stop teasing me," he pouted, slightly annoyed she was getting seven to nine pins down and his best had been six.
they continued until the end of the round and their scores had some noticeable ratio.
to make donghyuck feel better, hyerin went up to the counter and asked for a milkshake while he'd gone to the bathroom.
"here." she passed it to him with a smile. "it's not winning a round of bowling but hopefully it makes up for it."
he took the milkshake in his hand and looked at it with a big smile before turning back to her and bringing her in for a hug.
"careful! you might spill the shake on my back!"
"he wasn't too annoying tonight," myunghee commented and hyerin snapped back to reality. "would you rather have a five year old donghyuck or five donghyucks?"
hyerin scoffed. "five year old donghyuck for sure."
the three of them got into dongmin's car and drove around for a while with music. that was until myunghee excitedly tapped dongmin's arm and requested him to go to the ice rink.
"i don't have my skates with me?"
"they have some, i've seen," she responded.
hyerin didn't argue since she might as well go skate since it'd been a few days.
"why do you guys always want to take me to the rink?"
"because... we also want to ice skate," myunghee defended.
"you can't skate even if your life depended on it." dongmin scoffed.
she hit his arm. "not like you're any better."
"okay..." hyerin leaned back in her seat and waited until they arrived at the rink.
