Dancing With The Devil

Michael and I returned back to his room and he quickly shut the door. I walked over to his record record player. "This thing is ancient but it will work" I tell him as I place the record on. I know (I know) You belong to somebody new. But tonight you belong to me. I walk over to Michael and grab his hand, pulling him to the center of the room. "What are you doing?" He chuckled as I placed his hand on my lower back. I I placed mine on his shoulder. "Teaching you to dance" I tell him. He takes my hand and suddenly we begin to sway back and forth. "Little late on that one. Meads showed me" he informed me. I couldn't help but laugh "I would've love to see that one." Although (although) we're apart. You're a part of my heart. And tonight you belong to me. "So, what now Mr. Supreme?" I asked him. He smiled to me "Now, we take over the coven." "Once the old Supreme dies, there will be no question" he added. My heart sinks at the thought of Cordelia dying, but it was apart of the new Supreme being ushered in. Wait down by the stream. How sweet it will seem. Once more just to dream. In the moonlight. My honey, I know (I know)
With the dawn that you will be gone. But tonight you belong to me. We didn't speak for a long moment. "I couldn't have done any of this without you, Athena" Michael tells me as he placed his hand softly on my cheek. My heart pounded in my chest as butterflies danced in my stomach. "It's you and I Michael, nothing is going to change that" I shake my head. He placed his lips softly onto mine. The kiss was filled with heat and passion. He slightly pulled from me and rested his forehead on mine as he swayed back and forth. "I love you Athena Black" Michael confessed. His words catch me by surprise but they bring a smile to my lips. "I love you, Michael Langdon" I responded as we gazed into each other's eyes. He quicky spins me and I threw my head back and laugh at us, how suddenly we were normal.
  Cordelia had called me for a meeting. It's been three days since Michael passed the Seven Wonders and something wasn't right.  "Don't go..." Michael begged me. "Mikey, this is something I need to do" I tell him. "Just stay..." He begged. "I would love to, but if I don't Cordelia will know something is up. And this will be all for nothing" I tell him. He pressed his lips against mine, kissing me softly before I had to pull away. "I'll be back before you know it, won't even realize I've gone" I giggled before touching his cheek and walking out of the school.
   I arrived at the witches school, entering inside. The house was empty though, only concerning me. "Cordelia! I'm back!" I called out. I looked in the parlor, the kitchen and all down stairs. I reached the large staircase and climbed them. I turned and walked down the long hall. I entered Cordelia room to see her standing by the window, looking out of it. "I was calling from down stairs" I tell her. She owly turned to me "I heard." I blink my long lashes at her "Well, you called me back here. I assumed it was to move back in. But seeing the warm welcome I'm getting, I guess not" I huffed. Cordelia narrowed her eyes at me "You think I'd allow you back into this coven? After what you've done?" She asked me. "What are you talking about?" I questioned. "Helping evil over take this coven, that is what I mean!" She raised her voice at me. She knew, I felt my heart almost stop. This was a trap, a trick and I fell right into it. "Michael?" I asked. "You are the reason he's gotten this close to ruining everything!" She yelled at me.  I couldn't believe this, she was blaming me for this? I shake my head "No! Do not turn this all on me!" I shouted at her. "You are the one who decided to force me to help him!" "You are the one who said teach him! I did that!" I hissed out at her. "I didn't tell you to fall for him, nor did I tell you to sleep him" she pointed out. She slowly takes a step towards me "I don't know what you're talking about" I shake my head. "You've known exactly who that boy is, Even before you came to this house" she tells me. "I once thought of you as one of my daughters. But I know now that you do not and have never belonged in this coven" she hissed out.  "So I'm going to tell you something you don't know" she began to circle me. "We've caught, Miram Meads and Ariel Augustus and they will burn at the stake for conspiring against this coven and for the killing of Baldwin" she spoke. "So, I ask you Athena Black. Where does your loyalty lie?" She asked. "With the coven and the girls who thought of you as a sister or the devil and his son?" She asked me.  I take a sharp breath in as tears formed at my waterline "I love him..." I choked. "And so your love for him shall be the death of you" she tells me. "Grab her" Cordelia ordered. Suddenly men roughly grab my arms. "No! Sacrum!" I hissed out waving my hand and the men flew across the room, hitting the wall before the floor. Cordelia spun on her heel "Incendio!" She chanted as fire shot from her hand. I moved out of the way. I thought of the air being sucked from her lung when she suddenly started gasping, falling onto her knees. "Unlike you, Cordelia I do not need silly spells and incantations to use my magic" I tell her, rage and anger boiling in my blood. "You...chose this, you chose to walk down this path" I tell her as I walked closer. I then wave my hand and she flew across the room and into a chair. "I am no longer the little witch you thought I was..." I whispered to her. I twirl my finger and the vines from her plant begin to grow, stretching towards her and wrapping around her as they tied her to the chair. "W...what are you?" Cordelia asked me as I walked up to her, getting inches from her face. "Something... you'll never understand" I shake my head. "Hell, sometimes I don't even understand it" I shrug my shoulders. "But heres what your going to do. You're going to hit that cancel button on the burning at the stake for Miram Meads and then you're going to watch as Michael rises to Supreme as you fade" I tell her. "Meads, what is she to you that you care so much?" Cordelia asked me. "Let's say, she's like a mother to me...and Michael. If she dies. We'd surely come for you and your entire coven" I tell her. "Go...fuck yourself" she hissed at me. I shrug my shoulders. "You did this to yourself, Cordelia." "What happened to you?" She asked me as I walked over to her desk and picked up a envelope opener. "You used to be good, I know you were. The way your mother and father spoke about you growing up" she stated, trying to get to some part of me. "Them people...." I shake my head. "They abandoned me the moment it got hard." "See I had an agreement with Michael. When he became Supreme that your you'd be untouched and unharmed until the day you died natural causes" I explained. "That was until you risked my life to save Misty Day, without hesitation. Didn't even think twice to throw me away to save her" I pointed out. "To abandoned me, like everyone else has before" I tell her. "So, upon my return..." I walked back over to Cordelia and shove the envelope opener into her shoulder. "I will tell Michael to eradicate this coven! To leave it in ashes and leave you to die slowly, watching all your daughters to die before you" I smile wickedly. Suddenly the door burst open and I spun on my heel to see Mallory. "Supremos!" She shouted. I stood there, tilting my head to the side. "Did you actually think that would work?" I laughed. Suddenly I felt a sting in my neck "No, but that will..." Madison voice is from behind me. I turn to see her standing there with a smile. "You've been dancing with the devil for way too long..." Madison tells me. Misty helped Cordelia as the drug begins to wear off. "You witches think I'm that weak? Burning me at the stake won't work" I tell them. "Guess we'll have to try more than once" Myrtle stated. "And when that doesn't work, I'll kill you all" I tell her as they all surround me. "She's right, so let trap her" Cordelia stated. "Athena Black, for your involvement in the crime of killing Baldwin and comprising against this coven I sentence you to life...trapped in a sleeping curse. Your body will be awake and you will walk this earth but with no powers. You will not know your previous life. You will be alone and you will never see Michael again" she tells me. I suddenly feel like my mind was slipping. "I will place a soul binding spell over you, so Michael will never be able to sense you nor your magic again" she tells me. "You will be forever alone, until you die..." She hissed out. Suddenly I felt my body hit the floor and everything went black.
