We decided to just head out to a cheap restaurant to eat. We laughed as we dug into our steak and sipped on our wine. The meal was great, accompanied by lighthearted debates and inside jokes.

By the time we finish, it's 9:30PM. The wine we drank has seeped into our bloodstreams, making us only slightly tipsy due to the small amount we ended up drinking.

"Are you guys sleeping over again?" I ask, fiddling with my phone case as I walk through the exit door that Wil holds open. I watch from behind as Ash shakes his head, turning around once he's outside in the cool air.

"I'm gonna head home so I can get some sleep, and I'll start packing tomorrow, even though I probably have a couple of months, I'd rather be ready, you know?" I nod in understanding.

"Good idea. Do you want us to wait until you get picked up or whatever?" I ask. Ash shakes his head again.

"Nah, don't worry. I'll see you guys whenever" He smiles, waving. I wave back as Wil and I continue walking.

"Is it alright if I stay again for tonight?" Wilbur asks. "I brought clothes in the bag I left at yours."

"Of course, no worries" I grin.

As soon as we get back to the apartment, Wil takes off his fancy shoes, and puts them on the rack.

"Did you want to take the couch tonight?" I ask, walking into my home. There's silence for a few a seconds before he hesitantly replies.

"...Not really, no" He says, avoiding my gaze as he smiles sheepishly.

"Okay." I blush, taking the blanket Ash had used, folding it, and putting it back in the cupboard.

"Unless you wanted me to, of course" He adds, rubbing the back of his neck.

"N-no, I don't mind" I stutter, nervous of his presence.

"If it makes you uncomfortable, just let me know, okay?" He asks. I think it's sweet how considerate he's being and I can't help but giggle. After I recollect myself, I give him a nod.

"It's fine, Wilbur. Don't worry about it." He nods, showing he understands. After we both get ready for bed, we climb under the covers on our respective sides of the pillow.

I lie on my side of the pillow, my back to Wil, and he lies facing my back.

After a while I realize how cold it is. It's fucking freezing. Before I know it, I can feel goosebumps form everywhere as I shiver.

"Are you cold?" Wilbur asks. I flinch. How sharp-eyed is he?

"N-no, I'm fine" I struggle to speak properly with my quivering lips. Why the hell is it so goddamn cold???

I feel Wil shuffling behind me, and suddenly his arms snake around my waist and he pulls me back against him, the pillow no longer where it had layed. He's extremely warm and I can't help but inwardly complain at how unfair that is.

"You are cold" He mumbles as he presses his warm face into my shoulder. I'm sure my bright blush could provide enough heat for my whole body now as his hot breath caresses my skin.

"Don't think of it, just sleep" He murmurs, and he doesn't have to say it once more as the coziness he provides almost immediately sets me into a slumber.

I wake, the sun shines through the blinds as usual, waking me up, as usual. Wil's arms are still around me, but I don't mind. Usually I think I'd be rather uncomfortable in this situation, but it's not like we've done anything suggestive.

It's not my fault winter's a bitch. I yawn, stretching my arms, being careful not to hit Wilbur. His face is still pressed into my shoulder and I can feel his soft, even breaths.

"Good morning" He mumbles. I thought he was asleep.

"Morning. How long have you been awake?" I ask softly. Its too early for speaking normally.

"A while" His grip tightens and untightens slightly as he yawns.

"Oh. Did you get much sleep?" I wonder, reaching a hand up to his hair. I notice how far back his hairline is and it's comical how bad it is, but I don't mind. I find it cute.

I feel his head gently shake.

"I don't usually get a lot of sleep anyway. It's just something that I've learned to live with" He explains quietly, and huff. That's not cool, poor Wilbur.

"Would you to go out to grab breakfast? Get a hot coffee at a nearby café?" I offer. He nods.

"That'd be nice" He says. I sit up, Wil's arms still cling around me. I take one of his hands, playing with his abnormally long fingers. His hands are massive, like—unrealistically so.

"Come on. I can already tell it's a lovely, refreshing, sunny winter morning. Fit for a walk, and a hot coffee with a side of French toast" I attempt to persuade him.

"It's tempting" He murmurs, I hear the smirk in his tone. I sigh, a small smile on my face as I unclasp Wil's grasp. He doesn't protest as I slip out of bed.

"I'm going to take a shower. You can take one after, okay?" I turn back to him after I've grabbed some clothes. He nods watching me.

"Don't go back to sleep" I laugh.

After I've gotten ready for the day and taken care of my period, I head back to the bedroom.

And of course, Wil has fallen back asleep. He lays, curled on his side, the pillow we'd been using hugged into his torso, and the heavy blanket tucked snug around him. I sigh, smirking.

"Wilburrr" I call, laying down on top of the blankets, facing him. He groans, I recieve nothing more.

I gently pull the pillow from his arms, and he groans again.

"Willll" I drag out his name. All of a sudden he reaches out, and pulls me into him.

"Were you asleep?" I ask.

"Nope" He admits confidently, "and you fell right for it."

"I did. But hurry up, I want to go eat café food." We laugh and I pull him out of bed and wait while he showers.

"Thanks coming out with me this morning" I thank Wilbur. He didn't even have to stay again, and I really enjoy his company.

We walk along the street, taking the long route home. Wil needs to get his bag, then catch the 11:30 train back to Brighton. I'm surprised that he can just purchase the tickets willy-nilly, but I suppose he is a successful streamer.

"No need to thank me, you're fun to be around" He replies, and I smile.

"Same goes."

"Bye Wil" I say, hugging him at the door, he hugs me back.

"Bye-bye, Y/n. Thanks for letting me stay" He grins, pulling away.

"No problem. Text me when you get home."

"I will, bye!" He says, waving.

"See you!" He closes the door behind him, and just like that, he's gone again.
