At My Worst

Out of reach from me.

"Sorry didn't mean to bother you." The lady said. I looked at her shocked.

"D-Dahyun?" I stutter.

"Hi." She smile shyly.

"What are you doing here?" I asked as I stood up from my office chair.

"That's how you greet a friend? At least say hi if you feel like asking me if how am i doing for the past years." She said to me.

"I'm sorry, I'm just shocked I didn't expect your sudden visit here." I admit.

"Oh sorry, back in town." She told me

"Since when you got here?" I asked her.

"Since yesterday morning and you are the first person I want to visit so yeah, I'm here. What's up?" she asked me.

"So many things happened since you left this city."

"I'm all ears."

"I don't wanna talk about it, at least for now I'm really drained, sorry." I told her because I don't want to talk about it really.

"No need to be sorry, Maybe you have been through a rough times, why don't we call Lisa and Jisoo to hang out since I left I never seen them."

"I'll contact them like right now? this late?"

"Why not? But if their busy, let's just set when they are available, let just grab a mild drink for tonight and set a day with them so I'm not bother to them." Dahyun said

"Until when your stay here?" I asked my this old friend of mine

"Hmm... Until... Until I die i guest." She joked 

"You know that's not funny right?" I told her seriously.

"I know then take it seriously then." she stares at me, we stare to each other with awkward silence.

"I hate you." I tell her.

"Oh, I love you too ninibear." She then grab my hand out of my office.

"What theee.."

"Let's go! Hurry turtle." She said

We got in the elevator, stood there and Dahyun broke the silence. "Don't you miss me?" She asked me. I looked at her "Of course i did, I'm sorry I actually can't think straight now." I told her because I can't get my head off Chaeyoung. She's out of reach from me, I don't know why.

"What happened really? Why don't tell me? Maybe I can help, you know venting out to a friend." She tell me. I looked at her and can't help it but put my head on her shoulder she quickly pat my back ang squeeze my back as I cried in frustration I just felt so tired of everything and feeling really drained. "Ssshh, It's okay, just cry ninibear." the elevator opened signaling for me to broke myself form Dahyun, we walked to her car. 

"I don't want to force you to tell me, what really happened. I respect your privacy ever since I left, I didn't get a chance to asked you if how are you? How you doing? But Jen, I'm always here seriously. I know I've been absent to your life for five years but I'm here now willing to be your shoulder whenever you need a shoulder to lean on." Dahyun tell me while she's driving. I just did listen to her and stare at her when she talks. "Thank you so much Tofu." I thanked her and called her to her nickname that the way I call her before. 

I kept checking on my phone the whole ride that maybe just maybe Chae texted me or at least call me but none. Fvk! I don't know what to think anymore.

"We're here." Dahyun Informed me. We got  out of the car and walked to the private bar. 1 shot 2 shot 3 shot 4 shot 5 shot 6 shot from shot to bottle of whiskey. I finish the first bottle of whiskey and Dahyun stopped me from ordering again. "Okay Jen, That's enough." She grab me hand from signaling the bartender I saw her mouthed the bartender I guess saying that we had enough and bartender just nod her head. I did not protest anymore. "Why?" I asked her. "What why? You're drunk Jennie-yah!" She said "Why people always left me hanging? huh? why?" I asked really feeling frustrated she just stared at me. "Okay, that's the Que I'll drive you home now." She said avoiding my question. "Please tell me? So, I know what's wrong with me." I pleaded. She sigh and finally answer me. "I believe they have they own reason, even if they meant to leave you or not I do believe they have a reason, Everything happens for a reason." She tell me. "Fuck that reason! What the fuck is reason I need to know!" I screamed in anger. "Jen, let's go." My eyes getting blurry i feel so sleepy we stood up she put my right arm in her shoulder carrying me to walked to her car. Helping me not to fall. "I'm so-so-sorry, whatever I did wrong to you chae maybe I'm not enough." I said and that's when i fell to the passenger seat and passed out.
