At My Worst

Starting again.

Jennie came to Dahyun's office unannounced, it was very unusual since Jennie hates going anywhere since the day she felt betrayed. She just want to keep herself busy so she always locked herself at her office to make herself busy and distracted by the sadness and pain she's going through.

"Woah!" Dahyun shocked once she saw who open her office door.

"What? Am i not welcome here?" Jennie asked putting her bag in the sofa she sat down crossing her legs.

"No no, i mean yes what? No." Dahyun stuttering Jennie laugh at Dahyun.

Dahyun frozed and just stare at Jennie. She's laughing again it's good to hear her laugh again she looks more beautiful when she's laughing like that. Her thoughts got interrupted when Jennie walk closer to her and snap her finger in front of her face. "Earth to Ms. Kim DaHyun. Hello!" Jennie waved her hand. "Wha-what? Why? Huh?" Dahyun said still stuttering. "Dahyunneee! You're not listening. Aissh!" Jennie said rolling her eyes.

"Sorry nini-yah! Yah! Hey! Wait you what did you just call me??" Dahyun asked Jennie she couldn't believe it Jennie calling her again to the nickname she used to call her.

"What? Am i not allowed to call you that? That's the nickname i gave you, you forgot?" Jennie asked acting annoyed. 

"No, I mean it's good hearing you calling me that again after how many years. I am actually so happy right now seeing you here. You coming here." Dahyun admit and smile at Jennie.

"Yeah, I can't do this alone. Like what I'm saying earlier you weren't even listening you were in the other planet. I came here to thank you personally for yesterday It helps me a lot well, you helped me a lot. And as a thank you I uhh.. Inviting you for a dinner later it's time for me for payback after all you did't leave me alone when I'm going through something." Jennie said to Dahyun sincerly. Dahyun smiles at Jennie.

"I'll be there for you." Dahyun answer smiling sweetly at Jennie.

"Great! I'm picking you up at exactly 7:30 later this evening be ready the reservation is 8 ok?" 

"see you nini-yah." Dahyun smiles, Jennie wink before closing the door.

Dahyun don't know why she's feeling nervous she was with Jennie for more than three years before and ever since she came back she spent her all time with Jennie but why she's feeling this kid of nervousness now? Dahyun thought to herself when suddenly her phone went vibrate. 

(Infront of your unit already.) - Nini

Dahyun read the message but didn't reply she just go outside of her unit. Dahyun actually leave her office by 4 in the afternoon to prepare herself she felt excited about this dinner thing so she decided to leave early she doesn't want Jennie to wait and she wants to look good at least for tonight.

"Woah! Hi." Jennie said amazed

"Do i look bad?" Dahyun asked confused worried that she might not look good.

"Ohh no no, you look amazing actually. Extremely beautiful Dahyunee." Jennie said truthfully to Dahyun. Dahyun blush look down and simply reply "You're not so bad yourself." Dahyun replied shyly. "So, ah.. Let's go?" Jennie offered her hand for Dahyun. Dahyun didn't hesitate and takes Jennie's hand.

Dahyun known as a very gentle woman but this time she's been the one treating like a queen and Jennie being the Gentle woman is so fine. She treat Dahyun like a queen tonight.

"Jennie this place is really beautiful. Thank you so much" Dahyun said to Jennie sincerely.

"Do you like it here?" Jennie asked Dahyun.

"What? I love it here." Dahyun can't help but examine the place. They are having a dinner near in the sea. There's a lot of Christmas lights beautiful candles a center table near the sea. Dahyun thought why would Jennie bring her here? "Jen, if you don't mind me asking but why did you bring me here?" Dahyun asked Jennie. Jennie stares at Dahyun for a second. "I wanted to thank you for everything, for staying by my side for everything Dahyun really." Jennie answered. "I actually want make it up to you I was absent in your life  for three years and here I am now not making any false hope or any promises I'm just gonna do it and  show to you" Dahyun smiles and Jennie smiles. "Let's eat, shall we?" Jennie offered her hand for Dahyun. "Oh yes please."

"So, uh.. How are you been?" Jennie starts the conversation while they are eating.

"So far so good ever since aunt made me the CEO of our family business." Dahyun answered.

"No, I mean what happened for the past three years? But I am glad to hear that I am truly happy for you." Jennie said.

"Oh uhh, since the day uh you know since the day I leave wasn't easy at first It was boring and sad there. But as time goes by, I learned a lot of things  and get used the new life there." Dahyun answered

"I can see a lot of changes actually." Jennie said

"Hmm?" Dahyun hummed in confusion.

"I mean the improvement though. You've change a lot in a good way." Jennie stated the fact.

"Oh thank you." Dahyun thanked Jennie shyly.

"Uhmm.. Dahyunne." Jennie stares at Dahyun. 

"Hmm? Yes?" Dahyun asked

"You have something on you lips." Jennie slowly wiping Dahyun lips that made Dahyun froze and stare at Jennie, Jennie was so focused on wiping sauce on Dahyun's lips after wiping she stared at Dahyun's eyes and then to Dahyun's lips. Dahyun also staring at Jennie's lips before something happened Dahyun pulled away. "Ahem! Thank you nini."  Jennie embarrassed in her current action. "So uh.. You done? Do you wanna wake for a walk?" Jennie asked Dahyun. "Sure Let's go." Dahyun answer.

Walking by the sea.

"I really do love it here it's beautiful here." Dahyun stated. 

"Really?" Jennie asked

"Yes, really Jennie thank you so much." Dahyun stop walking and stare at Jennie.

Dahyun smiles at Jennie, Jennie offered her hand. "Let's go there." Jennie pointed her hand out. "I bet you'll like the view there." Jennie winked at Dahyun before pulling  Dahyun.

"Waahh! You became really stronger now Jennie-ah!" Dahyun was amazed at Jennie after they climb a bridge. "I remember you were so scared at heights but look at you now." Dahyun said proudly at Jennie. Jennie used to have Fear of heights. "Yeah, someone told me that you should face your fears." Jennie said at Dahyun "And someone told me that you should look at place that really high so you can face your fears in heights." Jennie said proudly.
