Mom scolded you for being out this late knowing how the city gets at night. If she knew who you just met and what they looked like- god she wouldn't let you out at night ever again, not even for Halloween. The doctor came out and gave us his status on Dad. He basically explained Dad survived but he has a 2 broken ribs and a broken wrist. Which was a huge relief considering the massive wreck he was in. The doctor said we could go see him and told us which room he was in. Me and mom rushed to his room
Mal(Dad): Hey champ..•looks at y/n•
Y/n: Dad! •hugs him tightly•
Mal(Dad): Woah.. •smiles slightly•
Kelis(Mom): Go easy on him Y/n..he has two broken ribs after all..
Y/n: Yeah right!- •gets off him quickly• well we were all so worried about you dad..
Mal(Dad): I was worried about me too-
You all laugh for a moment trying to avoid the huge elephant in the room. You get what mom did was wrong but dad just got in a car crash. You're not gonna pull that bitch move in the movies where the main character excludes someone from emotions just because they made a bad choice. You put what mom did on the back burner for now focusing on the more important matter is your father.
Y/n: Mom what are you doing all the way other there ?
Kelis(Mom): Well I-..
Mal(Dad): Cmon Kelis just because I get into a little accident doesn't mean we still can't have a little fun •chuckles•
Mom: •smiles and goes over to them•
You and your family talk,laugh,and have fun until visiting hours are over. Mom drives you home but instead of it being tense it was a peaceful atmosphere. It was 12:41 am when you made it home. You take a bath,change clothes,and lay down in bed. Then the sudden realization that it's Sunday and tomorrow is Monday hits you like a brick.
