Artemis found astronomy very fascinating, even though in the busy city of London sometimes the stars were barely visible. She tried to make the most out of it. Planets were her favourite, just the possibility of being unaware about other life forms and habitats. The moon being a form of mermaid kryptonite was not something she would have guessed.

Today I had decided on wearing a cargo mini skirt, a dark blue cami with a light blue trim, over that a light blue button up shirt that I left open and some white trainers. After getting myself ready I head out and meet up with Cleo and Rikki. Us setting our paths for Emma's house.

See its her dads birthday and she plans on setting up a surprise birthday party.
_____

"Welcome to my gothic world." says Rikki as we come through the door to the Gilbert home our eyes feasting on a ton of black balloons set up.

"That's not funny. It's my dads birthday. It's an important night." Emma declares frustration filling her voice.

"I can't believe you organised this whole the thing by yourself. It's very, um, efficient." Rikki quips back as we make our way through the house.

"Have I told you about the seafood?" Emma grilled into Cleo.

"Only 25 times."

"Tell your dad it needs to be fresh and it has to be his best stuff. We need to have it her by 7:45. Better write that down." Emma demands.

"You seem a bit tense." Rikki states.

"I'm not tense." She firmly denies.

"You're grinding your teeth." Rikki points out.

"It's called a smile, Rikki." She retaliates.

I lean forward over the counter and pat Emmas shoulder, "Babe, your tense."

She closes her eyes and takes a deep breath and opens her eyes,'them finding a new subject to criticise.

"Elliot, don't just do yellow and black. Get some other colours."

"Alright. Alright. Gee." And he bounces a balloon on Emmas head.

"If you want something done right, you've got to do it yourself." Sighs Emma.

"The nights itinerary's." And she passes each of us a piece of paper with a detailed schedule, "Ok, we'll do the meet and greet for 8:00 until 8:40. Dad arrives at 8:50."
