Artemis wasn't thrilled that she didn't have any powers as was Rikki. Even with that disappointment she didn't make it her mission to find them. They would come at the right time she always told herself and they did.
____________

After a very complicated situation with getting ready this morning I found myself standing in Cleo's room trying to find a solution for cleaning her fish tank.

Keyword being...trying.

I suggested trying some protective gear so here we are. Cleo was standing in front of her fish tank, her hands in pink washing up gloves and a net in her right hand, me beside her.

I glanced at her with a hesitant look, "So we should approach this calmly and collectedly" and she gave me a half grin, "We wouldn't want you flopping around in a tail would we" I joke.

"No, that would just add to another list of complications" and she began to reach her hand in tank. Soon after the water came in contact with Cleo's tan skin.

"No, no, no, no, no, no, no." She mutters pulling the gloves off her hands and a knock comes from the door.

"Cleo" it was Kim.

"CLEO" Kim repeats as she continues to knock on the door and my widened eyes follow as Cleo's body falls onto her bed.

"Cleo! Cleo! Dad says you have to hurry up if you and Artemis want a lift to school" she finished.

Me and Cleo share a knowing glance, "It's ok Kim" she yells out.

"We'll walk" I finish.

I get my cell phone out and start to call Rikki, "I'll call Rikki, you call Emma"

"This is a catastrophe of the highest order," Cleo states holding moisturiser as we walk out of the bathroom. It was about 10 minutes later after Cleo had transformed and we made it a mission to get her somewhere private. The bathroom. Then to get dry as quickly as possible.

"Moisturiser is mainly water." She continues as I lay down next to Rikki on her bed.

"If dolphins can swim for miles, so can we." Rikki interrupted.

"We can't moisturise ever again"

"We'll there goes the dreams of having glowing, young skin forever" I comment sarcastically.

"This is a huge problem"

"We could swim all the way to Fiji," Rikki turns around, "Could you imagine that?"

"Our skin will be dry and wrinkly. We'll be geriatrics by the time we're 21." Cleo says with a different level of seriousness plastered on her face.

"I missed training today. First time in six years." Emma tells us sadness taking over her face.
