Clair's Pov

Ya Tuhan. Mungkin kalian akan berpikir aku terlalu nekat mendekati Jack seperti itu. Tapi, bagaimana? Aku sudah terlanjur menyukai Jack.

Saat ini aku sudah berada di sekolah. Setengah jam lagi acara prom sudah dimulai. Namun sampai sekarang aku masih belum melihat Jack.

Aku pun memutuskan untuk menunggu Jack di gerbang sekolah. Semoga saja dia benar-benar datang.

20 menit kemudian

"Jack!" syukurlah dia benar-benar datang.

Ya Tuhan. Mataku yang salah atau bagaimana? Tapi kali ini Jack benar-benar tampan dengan setelan jasnya dan tanpa kacamata.

Dia tersenyum lalu menghampiriku. Aku pun langsung menariknya masuk ke aula sekolah.

Sesampainya di aula. Semua mata tertuju padaku dan Jack. Kenapa? Ada yang salah? Apa karena aku menggandeng seorang Jack ke sini?

"Catie! Cepatlah sedikit!" teriak Dylan yang sudah siap di atas panggung.

"Tunggu di sini!" ucapku menyuruh Jack menunggu. Jack mengangguk nurut.

Aku pun berlari ke arah panggung dan langsung memutar lagu yang sebelumnya pernah ku putar belum lama ini.

Aku berhenti tepat di depannya. Ia diam tak berkutik. Astaga!

"Clair, kau," Jack tergagap.

"Katakan, Jack." ucapku dengan senyum sumringah. Ya Tuhan! Semoga saja ia mengatakannya!

"Ma- maukah kau menjadi pacarku?" OH MY GOD!! TUHAN! AKU TIDAK SALAH DENGAR KAN?!

"Ya! Tentu saja aku mau!" aku langsung memeluk tubuhnya dan ia balas dengan memelukku.

Mungkin ini memang terdengar bodoh dan terlihat gila! But, at least aku dan Jack resmi berpacaran.
