Seabrook's Best

" Zena!!" My mom screamed as she was running through the hall with my little sister and brother both in her hands, "Could you please get your sisters shoes on?" She put my sister, Zyra ,down on my bed while scrambling to get my brother, Dyzon, to put his shirt on. My dad walked out of my parents room in his uniform and rushed down saying bye to everyone before closing the door behind him. After helping my mom get the twins ready i grabbed my bag hugging my mom goodbye. "I've got to go mom, got to meet Zed soon, goodbye!" I finished tying my shoes and got up and off my door step running to catch up with Zed and Eliza as we all danced together, Zed was leaving with Zoey as Zed was going to ask Addison to Prawn, basically Prom but Seabrook style. I catch up with Zed and Zoey since i was going to help prepare. Everyone waved bye as we headed to the road where Addison will soon be riding the bus on to come back from Cheer Camp.

-After Setting Up The Signs-

Zed was screwing in lightbulbs on a ladder while I was finishing up the last sign, just to make sure it was in check. Zoey was standing with paper confetti in her hand looking up at her big brother fixing in lights. "When do I throw the confetti?" she asks while smiling. "You'll know" Zed says as he turns back to look at her slightly. The bus was coming down the road and hit the string, setting off the signs. I slowly look up at Zed "Signs are set off!" I wasn't sure if he heard me. The first two signs came down showing in bold letters "Addison Will You", then the second " Go To The Prawn", and then I looked at Zed and the sign "With" , slowly switching my view to the red arrow and Zed. I realized he was in the way. "ZED THE-" He looked back at me and then the bus "Uh oh-" he then screamed. The bus horns then went off as Zed was thrown to the top of the bus. "With the bus swerving like that Zed could seriously die at this point" I thought chasing after the bus, while Zoey followed. I watched from afar as Zed swung onto the side of the bus where Addison was. He put his hand on the glass until he was thrown off.

He seemed okay as me and Zoey rushed to see him, but the bus was definitely not going to be okay. It swerves into the forest as Zed groans at the bus crashing. "That was bad crash" I looked at Zoey "Now!" she then threw confetti over Zed. he got up and chased after the bus, while i picked up Zoey and followed him.

- Addison's POV -

The bus was trembling as we all screamed, we were in the forest nearly dodging trees. We crashed through the gates of the forbidden forest, finally coming to a stop. "Is everybody okay?" someone said as i looked up. Bucky screamed and ran through the walkway of the bus using the back door as an exit. "Nothing can happen to me I'm way too important!" he exclaimed, jumping out of the bus. i finally stood up, "Everyone stay calm." I demanded. "Great leadership Addie. very future cheer captain of you." Bree smiled as she looked at me. "Zed!" I said as he popped into my head once more. I used the same exit as Bucky in hopes to find Zed. Bucky got up then fell again as I ran deeper in the woods.

All i could hear were birds as looked around, searching for a sign of Zed. As I was coming out form behind a tree, a branch tore something as I fell forward holding my arm. "Ah!" I looked back at the tree "What?" my thoughts were cut off by sounds in the forest. I looked around me. "Who's there! Zed?! Who's there?" I looked around as hissing, or what sounds like hissing, surrounds me. "Hello? Can anybody hear me? Zed?!" I gasp as it sounds like more movement and growling starts. When I turn, I see people, or whatever they were around me. As i examine the forest a girl wearing purple and mustard yellow clothing, howls as her eyes turn amber, almost a glowing gold. Her necklace turns blue, as others join her howling. I turn once more, and they're gone. i then felt a tap on my shoulder, I spin and punch who's behind me. "Zed!" I laugh as I hug him. "I miss you too" He laughs.

- Zoeys POV-

Zena is carrying me on her back while running after my big brother. He finally spots Addison so he excitedly goes up to her, as me and Zena follow. He taps her on the back, and we come up behind him walking. Addison punches him quickly and then hugs him. Zena sets me down and I wave at Addison. "Zoey! we're not alone" she says looking at my brother once more " we're surrounded by.. werewolves." "Cool! " I smile looking at Addison. "What? Wolves?" one of the cheerleaders screamed. "What wolves?!" another blonde shouts. "Here wolves?" the boy joins. "Were-wolves?!" they yelled in union. They started texting in their devices. "Nobody's gonna believe this" I looked at my brother as he said that.

-Zena's POV-

We were all at the city hall as Bucky complained "Werewolves are real! I always, always said the stories of monsters in the forests were real! And no one believed me." he then continued to look out the window. "I thought werewolves were just myths" Stacy stated. "Yeah like cavities. Those are real too?!" JC questioned confused. "Werewolves ew I really hope my allergies don't act up!" Lacey said looking worried. I was sitting next to Zoey as she suddenly looked at her father, Zevon, excitedly. "Pleaseee can I have one?" She asked hopefully "Im the only zombie in my class a werewolf friend would be great! I'll feed em and walk em!" She added. "Yeah, werewolves ain't class pets Zoey, and they certainly ain't friendly." her dad says. I look at her "Hey, at least Zed can still be your pet?" hoping to cheer her up.

Addison walked by with her parents looking at them "Im okay!" before Bucky came up behind her. "Aunt Missy, Uncle Dale, the crash was horrible , but i protected Addison" "What a liar" I thought as he went on. "..as courageous as me would've done the same. Though not really, I am super brave." proudly he stated. "Mom, Dad everything is fine." Addison argued after Bucky finished his idiotic speech. "Its not fine, there are werwolves circling us right now waiting to attack!" her father argued back. Bucky then started again on how great he was, complaining to his aunt to do something. She spoke briefly and walked to her podium, catching all our attention, slamming the gavel making us quiet down.

"By order of city council, effective immediately, all anti-monster laws are reinstated." she said as she slammed the gavel once more. People in the crowd started looking at each other while some applauded. "Mom that is unfair!" Addison said as Zed got up and walked in front of Addison. "Zed we need to talk" Addison said looking at Zed. "We do even though you didn't write or answer any of my letters." He smiled at her. "No i wrote! A lot" The Aceys shredded all of our letters." I heard Addison say before JC laughed at her. Zed kneeled down in-front of Addison before smiling " Will you make me the luckiest zombie and be my date to prawn?" "No" she said swiftly cutting Zed off as he said exclaimed then realized her answer.

He looked worried. "Everyone is freaking out about werewolves, so the anti-monster laws are in affect again, which means.." Addison was saying before getting cut off by Bucky, "Zombies can't go to Prawn, ouch" He said smiling. "But we're gonna fight this Zed" She said looking determined. "Okay so that's why you said no?" He finally lightened up again. "Yeah. Why are you smiling?" she looked at him like there was no other possible reason why she would say no. "When you said no I thought you didn't like me anymore. But the only problem here is some blood-thirsty werewolves. We can so fix that" He was probably already thinking of solutions.

I smiled at Zoey "There you have it, Seabrook's best couple" me and Zoey both giggled at that.
