Anti-Monster Laws

-Zena's POV-
As we head to Zombietown everybody is scrambling around worried as announcements are made. "Another curfew? We took like two steps forward to be pushed back five, I have no more hope" I said looking at Zed while I walk towards the Fro-yo stand. I looked at coach but he didn't notice me. I was about to leave when I saw a worker walk up to him. He stepped up looking at the cart before coach suddenly stopped him. "oh no,no,no,no,no,no,no. We're closed, for good. Dreams of Fro-Yo success melted away, with monsters everywhere. Look, I like zombies. they like Fro-Yo, but werewolves like human flesh. Maybe with sprinkles. everybody likes sprinkles.Just run, high knees, run!" He then ran off with his cart, I looked back at the worker who looked back at me as we held eye contact.

People were putting up 'Human Only" signs everywhere. The worker took off as soon as Zed caught up with me. I saw Zoey putting up a sign and helped her with it as Zed went inside. I read the sign. "Zoey come on home, it's not safe out here with these werewolves on the loose." Zevon said as he walked out. "Just one sec!" she responded swiftly I was kneeling beside her examining her drawing, until i felt someone come up behind me. I turn to see the same worker. "Strange..maybe he's just headed this way? But he's not a zombie, he shouldn't be here with all the humans running home." I stared up confused as he towered over me listening to Zoey. "Have you seen a werewolf? Im looking for a were-friend" she was beaming. "Silly kid, there's no such thing as werewolves." he responded. I stood up in front of Zoey "This guy is giving me a weird feeling" I stared at him as he took a step back. "But we heard it howl!" Zoey protested to make a point.
"Yeah, my friend Addison saw them as well, might as well believe her, no way she could lie about such a thing, you know?" I said slowly pushing Zoey a bit closer to me. He stared at me before responding. "Come on you know those are just myths" I look at him as he said that " Maybe it was a hiker saying "Howl's it going?" "
"It was a werewolf." I could tell she was a bit annoyed he wouldn't believe her. "My, what big eyes you have." Zevon called Zoey again as i encouraged her to go with her father.

After Zoey walked off I stopped smiling and turned to him. "You know even if there are no werewolves, you have no right to crush a kid's hope like that, she just wants someone who isn't human in her class. You also have no reason to be here with all the anti-monster laws back in place-" I got cut off by him as he said shocked "What do you mean? Im not a monster!" he was staring at me as if I found out he was cheating on his wife or something. "You didn't let me finish, you just got offended. I was meaning to say, shouldn't you be back home? Humans are scared of us once more because of werewolves, we were two steps, TWO, closer to being united, now we're at negative-three." I turned as he looked at me "Oh- I-" I then walked away adjusting my bag on my shoulder. Humans these days.

-Wyatt's POV-

I walked out of the forbidden forest in my disguise. Pushing up the heavy glasses, they made me so uncomfortable. I walk up to a short man in pink with a cart and stared at what he had on. I watched as a girl with green hair with white streaks in it, wearing jeans that looked a bit big on her, a red letterman jacket that looked oddly worn out, and converses that really looked worn out with embroidered patterns on them. The man told me about how hes shutting down the Fro-yo stands, and how i should run since werewolves were "on the loose." I tried not to smirk at the fact I've just been told to run away from myself. As he ran away the girl looked at me and then walked off. "Could those white streaks be something? I have never heard of a wolf and zombie mix" I was thinking as I followed her. She stopped at a house with what looks like her boyfriend. I saw a little girl nailing something up. The boy went inside the house as his father came out calling for the little girl. The girl I was following knelt beside her and stared at the sign. I looked at it as well as the little girl asked me "Have you seen a werewolf? Im looking for a were-friend!" She seemed happy to ask.
